Her gown was long and sparkling, made of white satin with intricate beadwork that reflected the light. The skirt flowed elegantly, with a train that followed her every step. Her hair was styled neatly in soft waves, adorned with a small crown that shimmered under the lights. In her hands, she held a bouquet of white roses and lilies, simple yet elegant. Her smile was gentle, but her eyes glistened with emotion, reflecting the happiness she felt.

"This is exactly the right time. So tell me—will you give me what I want? Or will you break your word?" I looked at her. At the woman who'd been by my side through everything. My sister. My ally. My— My mistake. "What do you want, Aurora?" Her smile widened. She moved past me. Crouched beside Kang's body. And reached into his chest. "NO—" I lunged forward. Too slow. Too weak. Too late. Aurora said, her tone full of satire. "What?" Xena yelled, with a burning gaze at Aurora. 'Did she just be insulted? me, is she bragging that she held the king's heart. Never I can't allow that to happen,' she mumbled "Your Highness, I don't dare to covet the king's heart, except he releases his heart and gives it to me," Aurora said, then she grabbed Xena's hand and yanked it away from her hair. Then she bowed her head and was about to go, suddenly Xena raised her hand to slap her but she held the hand before it reached her cheeks and dropped her hand harshly.

The thing that would hurt Aurora so deep she'd never forgive me. Usually I'd wave her off. Not tonight. Tonight I needed the weapon. "Why not," I muttered. "Let's add another bad choice to the list." She smiled like she'd caught something worth mounting. Her hand was on my leg before I could second-guess it. I didn't stop her. The night? Empty. Plastic.
