Alyssa left Alcinder and went closer to Elektra. “Where did you find this book? Elektra!”. “I stole it from one tricky witch”, Elektra winked. “And that tricky which has one chapter only she can open”. Alyssa playfully shoved Elektra from the stool and sat on the stool. She caressed the book and gave it a feather-like kiss. The book glowed swiftly. Elektra was taken aback, she was wowed. Avyanna had gently lifted Alcinder and had his head on her lap. She gently traced the contours of his face. He had sandbags under his eyes and he was paler. He was hurting and she could feel it.

The flames dancing dangerously as it licked over the floor before us, looking for its victim to claim. With one last shove, the henchman met the flames in a bright burst of colour. Sounds of screaming and dark laughter rebounded off of the cave walls as the fire drew the lifeless form into it. It carried on licking at the floor in search of its next victim, edging closer and closer to our waiting place. Without hesitating further, we push Angelique’s body towards the ever nearing flames. The fire hungrily engulfing her as she disappeared before our eyes. And just like that Angelique was no longer, and Avalon was safe from my fathers prying eyes once more.

So I couldn't stop asking and approached the sentinel who greeted me earlier. "May I know what the situation is with Avalone?" I asked him and he immediately became alert to me. "Mr. Ales, I can say that it was under control when the disaster came. Most of the monsters retreated and many were immediately killed. But even so, many were killed, and the necromancers also attacked," he said as he looked it's Sushi. Everyone probably knows that Sushi is a necromancer. It's still a big question to me how it started. That message is like a loop in my mind, giving me creeps.

The events of yesterday—the mysterious markings, the ritual, the formation of cloaked figures, and the ferocious beast that attacked us—had left my mind racing and my heart pounding with a mix of terror and determination. Now, as dawn broke over the eastern forest, I found myself riding alongside Damien and our contingent of warriors toward the northern sanctuary.
