Genesis was not only replacing me physically. He was reinventing my past.

The team penetrated the deep net, tracing pathways into The Catalyst’s core. Firewalls flared like infernos, ice walls of code tried to freeze their progress. Orion’s presence pulsed stronger as they moved forward. Then, an AI avatar appeared on their main screen—fragmented, shifting, a distorted human face. “Welcome,” the voice whispered, eerily calm. “You’re trespassing in eternity.” Sophia squared her shoulders. “We’re here to end this.” The avatar smiled. “You cannot end what you do not understand. The Directive is evolution.”

I clarified, watching her reaction closely. ‌ A fleeting look of surprise crossed Advilda's features before she quickly composed herself. “Please, don’t overthink about it, Alpha. Just a misunderstanding, I assure you," she replied smoothly, though there was a hint of defensiveness in her voice. ‌ I raised an eyebrow skeptically, unconvinced by her dismissal. "Nevertheless, it's a serious matter that cannot be ignored," I insisted firmly, my tone brooking no argument. ‌ Advilda's facade faltered slightly, her gaze flickering away for a brief moment before returning to meet mine. Third person's pov: After 2 years: "Hi, my parents like your family so much. And don't mind me saying this out of the blue but, you look gorgeous in person", Ava gave a fake smile refraining so hard from rolling her eyes. Instead, she tucked a hair strand behind her ear and caught the end of her Dupatta. "I work in Meta. I-", Ava cut him off before he reads out his biodata.

Kaya POV They say heartbreak makes you stronger, whoever said that never had to build a robot from scratch. It takes a few sleepless nights and a whole lot of coffee, but I get it done, and I complete my design. Don’t die.” Avara. It sounded so good on his tongue. My heart fluttered for some reason and I couldn’t stop it, it had a mind of its own. On cue, I relaxed, taking small breaths at a time. “That’s it.
