Alison's POV The first thing I noticed was the ache... a deep, throbbing soreness in my private area, I hadn’t known it could ache. My body felt heavier, lazier, as if it had finally surrendered to a profound exhaustion. I stretched carefully, the cool sheets brushing against my bare skin, and turned my head to the side. There he was, Xander, the Alpha of Alphas, lying on his stomach with one arm draped over his pillow, his breathing steady, his face softened in sleep.

“You have evil plans against me in the future.” Draymond shrugged. “Allow the future take care of itself. Live in the present for now, boy. You have the big opening. You can become a Sentinel today.” “So you think I should kill Jimin?” Xavier said, turning the book in his hands. “I didn’t say you should do anything,” Draymond frowned. “I just gave you the book that would best suit what you need to do right now.” Xavier turned the book over in his hands searching for a name. “This book was written by….” He turned the book around looking for the author’s name and he finally found it.

Xavier’s laughter grew softer as his fingers brushed away a strand of hair that had fallen across Anna’s face. Anna clenched her teeth. With a rough motion, she brushed his hand away, then straightened her body and turned to face the table to mourn the bird. Xavier responded to that outburst with only a faint curve at the corner of his lips. “You know, Anna?” Xavier’s fingers moved slowly along the armrest of his wheelchair, then he rolled it forward slightly until it was level with Anna. “We force our members to fight to the death in a training camp that resembles hell.”

Asma's POV I didn't remember how I got back to my department, I felt so enraged. Last minute I was standing there, next I sat at my desk and spent nearly 20 minutes looking into the same document without reading a word of it. My chest hurt, to be honest, hurt wasn't the right word. There seemed to be a crack in me. I could still picture the way Alpha Xander was holding Bella. The way his hands were around her. The same Alpha Xander Marco who hadn't even looked at anybody. The man who filled wolves with fear at his soul-crushing gaze. Yet he looked worried about her.

Xavier climbed off Ashley and he turned his back to face the bed, deep breaths left his mouth as he stared at the ceiling. Ashley turned on her side to face her mate who was trying to catch his breath. Xena was already agitated at the action and kept howling at the pleasure.
