With my senses now enhanced, I notice the shades in this place, and I absorb them. I come to the end of the cave’s trail, before me is a cliff, bordering a tumultuous whirlpool of blackened water. The primordial waters of Tiamat are in this abyss. I dive into the raging waters and empower my new form and return as a dragon child of Tiamat. It is now time to return. I shoot up from the center of the whirlpool and soar back to the entrance of the cave. Once I landed, I was breathing heavily, exhilarated. I now morph back into my human form, knowing that within, I am a dragon, and can call upon it when I need to.

They used to use it on mortally wounded dragons, it heals them and brings them back physically stronger than before,” she says.

“O Dragon of all Dragons. Awaken the Great Dragons from your deep slumber. I call you all the dragons of Magica. From the water, the land, the air. Ruler of animate and inanimate beings. For the Awakening of the Dragons and the future of Magica. I, Draco, the last Dragon King, summons you to rise and expel all demons from Magica! We walked towards the bonfire, merging into the celebrating crowd. Behind us, waves crashed against the rocks, again and again. Those years of being let down, those lonely waits, were all washed away by the sea. And I finally found my true belonging. Not a home that required my constant waiting, but a real home built on mutual respect. Under the moonlight, the new mark on my arm glowed softly.
