I don't know him and I didn't ask for his help in the first place for him to get mad like this. I turned and was about to leave the tent when I heard a growl of beast. I stiffened. "Don't test my temper human. I have a high respect with Axel but I won't hesitate to use force on you. You two were not official yet so I don't care if you're his.." He cleared his throat. "His friend." Who's Axel? I've been hearing that name since I woke up and they were calling him Alpha. I stared at the shadows that was passing by the tent. Am I in a wolf territory?

My hand trembled in his, but he held it firmly—reassuring, unshaken, calm. He looked every bit a king in his white ceremonial robe embroidered with gold and pearl threads. Drake growled. Suddenly, his eyes turned red; he was fuming mad as he transformed. He runs towards the rouge, who transforms into a werewolf and mercilessly scratches his back. He wasn’t contented; he attacked the rouge, and then Drake beheaded the rouge until it transformed into a human, lying on the ground, lifeless. They fought the other rouge and howled angrily. “That’s for poisoning my stray!” Drake gritted his teeth as he beheaded them all. Beta Dillon picked up the poison's antidote and gave it to the alpha.

I said. As they haul the rogue away, I look to my mate. Her fur is covered in blood but I don’t care. “You both are incredible fighters.” As I run my hand through her fur. “I will make sure you and Cronos have your time together too beautiful. Can you shift for me so I can talk to Rebel?” Roxie licks my face and then steps back and pulls a shift. When Rebel appears in front of me, she is completely covered in blood. “Do you always get attacked by this many rogues Austin?” She asks, looking around like she is trying to make sure there are no more threats. She thinks like a beta and fights like an Alpha. I’m still reeling at how amazing she was during the fight.

I rocked back and forth, clutching him to my chest, sobbing until I couldn’t breathe, until my vision went dark and all I could feel was the crushing weight of loss. The door burst open, and I barely registered the sounds of fighting, of snarling and tearing flesh. Axel’s scent filled the room, his presence radiating fury as he tore through the rogues, his rage a deadly force. One by one, they fell under his hands, as he unleashed his wrath upon them.

A charming and light-hearted smile that could make a heart melt. "Hello, Rose. My name is Axel and I'm an asshole. I feel very sorry you got stuck with me so to make up for it, why don't I start by taking you to dinner? What's your favorite food?" He asks, bowing like a courtesan in front of the throne. "Hi, Axel. I'm Rose. I really hope we could learn to get along and my favorite food is tacos." "Horrible choice!" He sighs, but still with the dashing smile and as we walk out the door, I can't help but offer him a smile too.

I should’ve hit him when I had the chance. Tyler and the others step inside, still looking confused as hell. “What the fuck was that?” Tyler asks, dropping into the chair beside my bed. I can’t tell them the truth. “Axel works for Rook’s family,” I say instead, keeping my voice even. “Apparently, he was meant to screw up and let me make him look useless so they could sell him for less. Turns out he didn’t like that idea.” Tyler lets out a low whistle, shaking his head. “Shit. That’s good, though. For a second there, I thought they had staked a claim on your ass.” He laughs, oblivious to how fucking close to the truth he actually is.

*Axle's POV* As I’m waiting outside, I feel strangely nervous. What if he doesn’t like me? When I see Six walk out with the little boys hand in hers, I can’t help but smile. Alpha Kyle chuckled immediately after he got to me. Immediately, I turned around, picked up a handful of dust, and threw it into his eyes. Next, the pressure pressing down on me disappeared. Before any of the guards came back to their senses, I stood up and sprinted at full speed. But this time, I wasn't running mindlessly. After covering some distance, I immediately hid behind a huge stone. "Find her!" Alpha Kyle's roar resounded through the forest just as I hid behind the stone.
