Nora's POV I didn't reply. My mind was a blank. I looked at my eyes, swollen from crying, and I couldn't stand the thought of walking in there looking beaten, so I forced myself to put on careful makeup. "Zarek," Aziel called again, relentless and impatient. Shit. I pushed myself up, my head pulsing, vision slightly off balance. I opened the door and met his already annoyed expression. "You have five minutes to get your ass downstairs." My eyes traced his messy hair, bare chest, and the dragon tattoo running along his side.
