~Alaya I'm not sure why my mind decided the man in front of me should have been Alpha Asher. It works in a strange way like that. So when it saw that the man is not in fact Asher, I was oddly disappointed. Instead, the man doesn't have the magnificent golden eyes I had expected. They are the same hazel to dark brown colour that most Desire Pack members sport. He has rather bland features too, however, he is still attractive. I didn’t mean to be such an arse about it.” Creighton clears his throat and moves towards a large table. “All bantering aside, why are you two here?” Azazel puffs out a breath and moves towards the table with a loose stride. “I’m here because my mate is the siphon that Marael is using to end the world.” My stomach tightens at his words. Even though I know that I’m the siphon, it still pains me to hear it. Azazel must notice my discomfort because he extends his hand towards me and gives me a gentle smile.

Azraiel shouted in the phone and Daniel quietly went out of the room. “Right…right….You had no right… absolutely NO RIGHT to put her through that pain….that too so all of a sudden. Do you have any idea what she has been through in the past few days?” Azraiel was red in the face, his eyes glaring into space as he walked back and forth, working himself up. “Yeah..is that so? The angel didn’t owe me an ounce of loyalty. “We’re on our own,” I said into the bond. Beki gave me a grim nod. “Maybe Hades might want to open up negotiations?” She raised a paw to shrug. “What is this?” Azriel shrieked. My gaze darted to the side, but all I could see amid the sea of bleeding limbs were Azriel’s white wings, which were darkening to a slate gray that bordered on black. He spun around and rushed toward Hades. “What did you do to me?” his high-pitched voice rang through my ears.

“Gray?” uttered a bemused Sarah Lewis. “But I thought you just woke up? Is it alright for you to walk around already? Wait, did you get a haircut? You dyed your hair black too.” “Did you just mistake me for that woman?” scowled Azriel at her then after he wore his glasses, he pulled on Elreese’s hands wrapped around him. “And get this little creature away from me.” He gently pushed the little girl toward her. “And aren’t you Sasha Neuman? According to my data, you supposedly died three years ago because of an imprudent drunk driver.”

It was like the man wasn’t there or they didn’t feel guilty at least, about it. “You don’t need to be surprised, Ezra. For a person who had a Lycan son, who has also been given up on, I am surprised that you are still surprised about me.” Alvize said, stopping me. I had to fight back growling at the man whose eyes were fixed on our parents. The odd and scary part about this was that the man showed zero emotions, and zero remorse. If anything, he didn’t seem to be in the pain that I was in.
