The Lust Cursed Luna
A creature smaller than the lemur leaped onto a nearby tree, the leaves rustling in response.
"N-now what was that?" I stammered, my words betraying my unease. Instinctively, I moved closer to Alastair, seeking his presence as a source of comfort.
The amusement in Alastair's expression was evident as he responded, "A bush baby, baby." The words only served to heighten my unease, leaving me struggling to find my voice.
"Its size is too big to be a baby," I finally managed to croak out. The lemur's reaction was immediate, scrunching up its eyes and emitting another hissing sound, as if it was irritated by my response.
