It seems like what people say about the first day is always hard, it's true. Avery found her first day babysitting Charlie was hard. She confronted an angry Charlie just minutes after Shanon left the house. It turned out that Charlie was not the sweet baby she thought he was. Charlie burst into tears when he saw his parents going on holiday. Avery would almost call Shanon and tell her to come back if she couldn't calm Charlie down with a bottle of milk and his favorite teddy bear that had always accompanied him to sleep since he was a newborn.

“Snacks and ice cream for my favorite girls.” Sophie clapped her hands, taking the cookies eagerly. “Thanks, Uncle Larry!” Lauren narrowed her eyes. “Are you bribing her now?” Larry straightened, holding up his hands innocently. “Bribing? No. I’m simply showing my appreciation for the little ray of sunshine in this house. Someone’s gotta counterbalance your storm clouds. But I got you some ice cream too.” Lauren crossed her arms. “How thoughtful.” Larry smirked, plopping down on the armchair across from her. “So, how’s babysitting going? Sophie giving you a hard time?”

She had climbed onto the bed again, her sketchbook half-open beside her. A drawing lay on the page — the three of us, holding hands beneath a bright sun. In her childish scrawl, she had written: Mommy, Daddy, and me. Tears stung my eyes. I tucked the blanket around them, careful not to wake either of them. For a moment, I just stood there — watching the gentle rise and fall of their breathing, memorizing the fragile peace that had somehow survived everything. Then my phone buzzed. A message from Nicholas.

“Choked on air.” Aislen smirked. Their turn came and the receptionist looked up expectantly as they leaned over the counter. “Baby Book?” “There’s a book?” Aislen blinked. “I have a book,” Heath said, frowning. “About babies.” “The one your GP gives you,” the receptionist was patient. “Your GP did give you a Baby Book didn’t they?” Aislen shook her head. The receptionist nodded wearily and reached under the desk producing a blue diary. “This your first appointment?” She asked opening the diary.

Kelly came out from the back and grabbed her purse. "Are you ready." She asked Mike. "Do you wanna meet the new babysitter?" Mike asked. "No, not particularly." she replied. Mike shrugged. "Why not?" "I don't know, Mike." "Alright, then we can just leave," Mike said. "Let me go give her some quick instructions." Mike walked into the playroom and was greeted by the erotic sight of his new babysitter's tight, perfect ass. Eva was kneeling and bending over, showing the kids something.

The baby kicks again, as if he can't wait to join this family. Thomas arrives for dinner, he comes every Saturday now. He brings a new book for Emma, something about brave princesses who save themselves. She squeals with delight and demands he read it immediately. Over dinner, we talk about everything and nothing. Thomas tells stories about his bookstore. Tony mentions a new project at Stark Industries focused on creating jobs for domestic violence survivors. Emma chatters about kindergarten and her best friend Sophie and the caterpillar they're raising in class.

Vanessa sat at the chair she'd stood up from earlier and faced him, her chest heaving up and down. "Relax. I won't charge you for the damages you caused to the book and sitting on my chair without my permission, lady." Jack 'reasssured' her and then took out a document from on of the drawers in the table closest to him. He threw it towards Vanessa who caught it and opened the first page to read its content. It was the contract document that she'd need to sign before becoming the official babysitter/ mommy for Lisa. She started to read carefully and frowned at the contents.

The little boy seemed a bit uneasy when he noticed his uncle and nanny there, so he tried to run towards them, but the first man stopped him with his arm, the one holding the gun.
