I almost dropped it again when I saw all the money inside. “Ha! See?! My powers are working. Master got money because of me!” Mammon leans into my ears and whispers like the devil that he is. “Now, master. Take the money and leave the wallet on the ground.” I poked his eyes with my fingers to get him to move away. Mammon backs up and screams. “Ow! Why’d you do that!?” “I know you are a devil, but tone your temptations down since it isn’t going to work on me. In fact, I am going to try and find the owner. I am sure that they haven’t gone far considering that the wallet is still here.”

"He has a lot of money, that's what scares me. It's the only thing he has more of than I do. With money comes power, and with power, you can do almost anything." "Money and power." Her tone shifted. It wasn't teasing anymore. It was serious. Wary. "Shea? What is it you want to say?" I ask finally. "Nothing, It's just that," she replied, her voice a little lower now. "You know what they say—money comes with power. And the more money, the more power. And power isn't kind, Zerina." I frowned, the laughter slowly fading from my face.

Ryu hadn’t been making small talk. “The President, Emperor, Prime Minister, King, Sultan.” Kyoko listed all the options, but Ryu shook his head. “Wrong. The answer is money. A lot of money. The person who has the most money holds the power. No matter the country, the answer will always be the same,” Ryu said with a smile, somewhat satisfied to see Kyoko’s subtle reaction of amazement.

She just gave me some money to buy food. I just stared at the paper money. Humans' money is strange because it looks so easy to tear apart. Unlike in Moondrous and another world, we use gold, silver, diamonds, and pearls as our payment. I grinned when I remembered something.
