Maybe I was imagining it, but the library suddenly felt at least ten degrees warmer. I focused my attention back on the books in front of me, now that Cole had added a few. I could feel his gaze still on me, but I tried to ignore it as best as possible. Then I turned a page and the book really did grab my entire attention. On the pages I found a record of all the packs of the werewolves, not just the Grandmoon Pack. I turned the page, hoping to find some record of the Western Pack. Sure enough, there was indeed a record of the western pack, but it was just a few sentences.

It has an Italian written word, boldly written in golden shades. "Werewolves In America." I flipped through the first page, reading through the lines. There were a few names of werewolves who were said to have lived in the past two centuries when the werewolf breeds came into existence. I had to jump pages as I kept flipping through pages upon pages. I got to a certain page with a drawing of a werewolf Alpha. Its face looked quite scary, having a slight resemblance of the giant who had attacked me the previous night. I flinched at the loud sound of a book hitting the table. My heart skyrocketed for a brief moment. "What the fuck was that for?!" I yelled after seeing Nicole and Brenna.
