The arrow shot the vampire, and it stopped fighting, stiffened, and dropped to the ground. “Fuck! Andrews!” The archer cursed, looking at his friend dead on the ground. My head whipped towards Amber, who cracked her knuckles and flipped the makeshift stake in her hand before launching herself at the archer. The archer took back his stance and charged arrows at her. But she deftly sidestepped and ducked those arrows. Her steps were precise and calculated–just like how we were trained in camps. Was she trained, too? The archer groaned in anger, finding all his arrows used. He tossed his bow away and closed the distance between him and Amber, using his supernatural speed.
