My Blessing

My Blessing

Aunt was boasting her daughter cooking skills; which never existed. I can't stop myself from giggling at which there was an interruption. One who never entered the kitchen other than to see what is the menu today or to have water; who doesn't even know how to make tea. Is given credit for all delicacies. I thought in my mind. Anyone could have told these biscuits are packaged one; one from All-star Grocery shop; whole locality orders them. Ohh! but these people are so-called millionaires they might be having their bakeries or homemade cookies by special chefs. who knows? ; I thought.

Bikers and Bakeries

Bikers and Bakeries

This time I planned on getting enough dessert to share with my gang since they seemed so keen on taking all of my haystacks last time. I decided to walk down to it since it was only a few blocks away. When I reached the bakery, it was all but empty inside. Obviously I had missed the run for breakfast goods, and it was like any other store for being slow on a Monday. There were just a few donuts left in the case, but I wanted macarons. The cookie display had an assortment of chocolate chip, sugar, peanut butter, and a couple of others, but no macarons. “Can I help you?” A lady walked out from the back of the store. She was about five foot five or so and had shoulder length red hair.

Despite Theodore’s wants for the mansion, I got the 2 story bakery. It took us a week to move everything to the new building. The building had two floors. On the bottom, a storage room, a kitchen, a front room, and a bathroom. Upstairs, 4 bedrooms, and a bathroom. In the storage room there are shelves, tables, food bags, and barrels. In the kitchen there is an island, a sink, 3 stoves, and cooking ware. In the front there is a counter, display cases, tables, and chairs. There was a bathroom with two stalls. We put a sign for women and men on each. The bedrooms upstairs were all the same size, and had beds, wardrobes, tables, lamps, and a window. We chose our rooms based on the view outside.

The Don's Hidden Legacy

The Don's Hidden Legacy

Noah stepped off, his legs feeling like jelly. "I need a bed. Now," he muttered to himself, trying to gather the shreds of his sanity. He walked along the rotting wooden sidewalk, passing rows of old shops with paint peeling from age. His eyes settled on a twostory building; the ground floor was a tiny bakery called The Daily Crust. The aroma of yeast and browned butter slightly calmed his growling stomach. In the window, there was a handwritten yellow sign: Room for Rent. Cheap. No Questions Asked.

Pregnant After The Contract Ended

Pregnant After The Contract Ended

It was the safest I had felt in months. "You're doing a wonderful job, Naomi," Mrs. Gable said as she walked by with a stack of magazines. "I haven't seen those files so organized in years." "Thank you, Mrs. Gable," I said with a small, shy smile. "I like things to be in their proper place." "Well, you've got a gift for it. Why don't you take a break? There’s a little bakery next door. They have the best ginger snaps. Good for... well, good for whatever ails you." She gave me a knowing wink.

Mated to the Enemy: Imprisoned by Mate Bond

Mated to the Enemy: Imprisoned by Mate Bond

My heels are kicked off under the desk, and I’m slowly sipping a cup of black tea while checking the budget sheet for the grand opening. The door opens without a knock, and Ronan walks in. He isn’t carrying his clipboard this time. Instead, he has two small brown paper bags in his hands, smelling faintly of fried dough and cinnamon from the little bakery down the street. “Peace offering,” he says, tossing one of the bags onto my desk. He drops into the leather chair opposite me, stretching his long legs out and crossing them at the ankles. “You’ve been staring at that ledger for three hours, Des. Your eyes are going to turn into little dollar signs if you don’t take a break.”

My Ex-Alpha's Late Redemption

My Ex-Alpha's Late Redemption

Our thing. The baker was a young guy. Clean-cut short hair, always wearing a dark blue apron dusted with flour. He didn't talk much, but his cakes were incredible. Light, fluffy, perfectly sweet. Tina drooled over them every single day, swearing they were better than any professional pastry shop in Southaven. That afternoon, Tina was swamped with over a dozen documents to process. Contracts, forms, spreadsheets—the boring stuff that kept the business running. She needed a sugar boost. I could see it in her eyes—the glaze of spreadsheet exhaustion.

Promises Forgotten

Promises Forgotten

“Well, apparently, she isn’t one for money because she hasn’t exposed your ass.” “Or she is dead.” I thought back to the last memory I had. If that was her, was her blood, and her body I held, it was quite possible she had died in my arms. “No. She is still alive.” Jason spun his computer around. Stacy and Derek leaned in. “She owns a cafe slash bakery slash bookstore in Los Angeles called the Book Nook. It’s cute.” Stacy started to click through the webpage as I started to walk over to the computer. Leaning in, I looked at the laptop.

Well how do I start this, but you have to read it but warning!!! Bring a lot of tissues, you will need them. Wonderful writing, in love with both leads character and their friends. Beautiful story line, not too short or long, cry, sad, pain, laugh and love. Worth reading & spending. Highly recommend

I really loved this book—the characters, their development, and the supportive circle of friends and family. If you’re tired of clichéd CEO books where the main conflict revolves around a bitchy ex and annoying misunderstandings, and you’re looking for something meaningful, this is your book!

SEDUCING MY BESTFRIEND'S BROTHER

SEDUCING MY BESTFRIEND'S BROTHER

She went back to the kitchen. Outside the window, the afternoon street went on being the afternoon street, ordinary and indifferent and entirely unaware that inside a small Brooklyn bakery, something that had been held in for four years had finally been let out into the room.
