Ban On Books Novels & Stories

“Good girl.” By evening, Alora announced her plans with a breezy smile over dinner. “I have to head out again tomorrow morning for that full weekend retreat upstate. Presentations, networking… I won’t be back until late Sunday night.” She reached over and squeezed Derick’s hand. “You two will be okay holding down the fort?” Derick’s eyes met mine across the table for a brief, scorching second. “We’ll manage.” The moment Alora’s car disappeared down the long driveway the next morning, the air in the mansion shifted. The heavy front door had barely clicked shut before Derick was on me.

"It's the fault of the books he reads. His mind, being as deformed as his form, processes knowledge the wrong way. I propose he stops reading." "Agreed." Corpa nodded and glared at Roydo. "From today you are forbidden from entering the royal library. If I ever see you step foot there again, I will have you executed.” Roydo's horrified expression told Donton how much of a punishment it was. Later in the privacy of his chamber, Donton tried to plead with Corpa but he refused to listen to a word. So Roydo was barred from the library. But not from knowledge. Donton began sneaking books to his room. He was determine the boys thirst for knowledge would not be quenched.

I watched her, curiosity drawing me closer. “Where are those going?” I asked softly, my voice hesitant. Rosa looked up and saw me. Her eyes faltered for a moment before she answered. “They’re being burned, Miss Catalina. Matteo ordered us to burn them.” “Burn them?” I blurted, shocked. The fabrics were so luxurious, the kind of clothes I could only dream of owning. “Why?” She glanced at the other maids, seeking their silent approval. “They belonged to… to her.” Her voice lowered, the unspoken name heavy in the air. “Mr. Matteo doesn’t want any trace of her left in this house.”

"That wasn't magic, science, remember?" " What are you? An engineering major?" "No a medicine major" "You don't look like a nerd to me" " That's stereotypical," he looked at the book." are you reading or not?" "I'm taking it home," I said, scanning the first page of the book. "You can't" I looked up at him. "Why not? Most libraries give their customers privileges to borrow a book, don't they?" He sighed. "Just do as I say. Drop the book when you are done, if you know what's good for you"

Kennedy POV. The weather was bad, but I needed to get that new book, it's Robert birthday gift, who'd knew a grown up man would kill for the newest werewolf love book. I got into my car, drove carefully toward the local book store, they had the new book reserved for me. It was supposed to one quick drive, until I walked into the library. A girl was sitting on a bean bag, her blond hair was covering her eyes with overgrown bangs, she tried to huff them away from her face but to no use. She looked young, maybe she's just here with her parents, looking down at the book she had in her hands it was a kids story. Does she read for the local kids? Or is it just for her?

is all I could say with this overwhelming sense of gratitude. He grins. “I have more.” He leans towards me and whispers, “But if I give you more, I doubt your king will allow the books to be onboarded. I’m sure he’ll say something about maximizing the load.” “Is that what he’s thinking now?” “He’s currently calculating the weight of the books. But knowing that he can’t use that. He plans to accidentally burn them.” “He can’t do that!”

he asked, maybe if it was written by someone with a clear reputation, there could be something to it. "It's written by Omega's" Damon said as he flipped the pages back, showing the first woven page of the book that held Omega mark, surrounded by a circle that Sebestian didn't recognize. "It's said to be their first and it's banned. According to Lin, who got me the book through Baba, this book is to be burned unread by the pack's if they get their hands on it. That's aggressive, even for the Omega's".

Zavier The God of the future asked as he looked around the class. "Yes Ms. Ariella is wondering why you worded the book the way you did." King Alexander stated. Zavier looked at me and then my book with a weird Expression on his face. Why did he seem curious? "Well this was back when you would imprison anyone who didn't remember a law. As I recall you made it illegal to read any of the laws you created out loud because of that reason alone." Zavier explained.

So it was privately banned, so few people we're able to get this book before it gets banned. One of them is the family of Yubin's friend, it was at that moment when they realize that the book has been banned, they decided to hide it and give it to their daughter. Then the daughter will read it, if they liked it, share it with someone that is because they idolize the work of a dead man.

“I see…I want you to investigate by all means so that I have my daughter's experience in this school in due time…I will crush these middle-class children if they dared to touch my baby …I will destroy them and their families” Amanda's assistant nodded before heading out to find a way to obey her boss's orders. I arrived at Mr. Burns' shop and found him busy talking to a customer. He seemed annoyed and I wondered what was wrong. “Sir once again I do not offer this kind of book” “But you are a library, it is normal to have one. » "No, because I have a certain ethic that prevents me from offering this kind of work" "I think it's procrastination" Mr. Burns rolled his eyes before smiling, I imagi
