Ban On Books Novels & Stories

Dante doesn’t look like the type of guy to be embarrassed by a grown woman’s excitement over books. “You’re… welcome…” He lifted his fist to his mouth and coughed into it. “But there’s a small catch…” His words came like rain on my parade. My lips pursed into a thin line, and all the happiness evaporated from me in an instant. ‘Of course there is. I knew this was too good to be true. Especially since it’s coming from him.’ “What is it?” I sighed. My mind was already preparing for the worst. “Under no condition should any of these books leave the library, and the kids aren’t permitted access to this place either.”

Samantha In all my years of owning a publishing company, I've read countless books about taboo themes. From reverse harem, erotica, age gap, incest, mafia romance, dark romance, and all the hardcore topics. I realised that, in New York, people shunned books like these, and they made sure to shut them down before they got to the public eye. I built my company to give people a chance to see through their creative imagination, no matter how dark it is. There are people who actually like reading books like these. They are invested in them too; hence, they need their fix.

“Yes, sir!” “Ok, here are the rules. Each of the books here can be borrowed with points. You can read the introduction before borrowing them. You need to register with me first if you only wish to browse. If you really wish to study, you’ll have to go into the Enlightenment Room for two hours, of which you’ll need points to access that as well. Prohibition has been put on the books so don’t even think about forcing your way through them. Remember, you have a time limit of two hours. You’ll need to pay with more points if you want to extend the time.”

“And acting skittish about it?” Letting out an irritated grunt, she explains. “Let's just say years ago the council grew scared the book could mistakenly get out to humans if discovered, so it was banned from society and burnt to ashes. Or at least, the copy of the book was burnt. A long time ago-” She hesitates, staring at me for a brief second, before continuing. “An ancestor of mine wrote this book and no one has any idea I have the only original with me. If anyone finds out I have this in my possession my entire family would be punished and I can’t let that happen, they’re already facing enough being defects.”

He stared down at it, then at me, shock flickering across his features before the fight dragged his focus back to the next threat. “NEW FUNCTION DETECTED,” the librarian snarled, voice crackling. “CORRUPTED AUTHOR. ILLEGAL EDIT.” A volley of books arced toward us. I didn’t have time to parse titles. Burn, I thought, flinging the idea like a shield. Flame licked the edges of a chunk of them mid‑flight.

Why will she request access to such a thing when it can only be used to harm people? I took multiple deep breaths, trying to calm myself down. Her fists were clenched and she was still kneeling before me with her forehead touching my feet. She looked a little bit nervous, but determined, not willing to back down or take back her words. “What nonsense! Library of forbidden arts is a collection of books seized from dark sorcerers for over a time spanning thousands of years. They were all from demonic witches, wizards, and the worst of evil. As the wife of the wolf emperor meant to embody grace, love and compassion, why will you want to touch such things if you do not have bad intentions?” Gene

I said wondering where this whole conversation was heading, "I want you to protect her," he said turning his phone screen to me, 'her'? my eyes slowly fell on the screen, a girl with her blonde hair packed in a ponytail sat with a pile of books by her side, she is obviously a nerd even her big round glasses say a lot, she looked fixated on whatever information she was getting from the book that even if an attack was to happen in the room right beside her she may not even know, but something about her made me feel there was more than what meets the eyes, "A girl really?" I asked in a bored tone,

“What book?” “Yes, it was a book. To be honest, I don’t know why Father banned many of those kinds of books. It was mostly about mating, about rituals, about something Lycans and something wolves.” “Really? I’d like to see the book.” “Trust me, if you ask Father, he’s going to flip. I would suggest you instead sneak around and try to find that book yourself. But until then, you have to act like a Lycan. Stop running away from your problems. Last night you ran. Tonight… are you going to run again, or will you face your problems?”

They are probably burning them. A wave of horror flooded through him. Burning books! There was not a book in the library that was not at least two thousand years old. It had been eons since books were printed. Even the most trivial books were important artifacts of the earlier time. " But that is sick! only an insane human will burn such books. I doubt it. Never!" He said. what else can he or she do with those books? After all the books are written in n ancient language. They can't even read it. They need a translator to do that for them.

I message and reminded them that daddy will literally ban them from the library, pantry and the pool if they don't behave for at least a month. My father's smart. He knows that banning gadgets was nothing because we are not interested in those. He knows that the most impactful way to teach his kids a lesson was to forbid us of two things: food and books. I personally did not get punished while I was younger because I have more important things to do like sleeping. I'd rather sleep than to create havoc to James Rosen-Hower's life. Gabriel and Jamison are enough. They are doing a good job. More power for them.
