Wedding Day

Wedding Day

Bea surrendered and grips tightly at Evan's arm whenever her body slightly sinks. "Move your feet and arms." Evan instructed which she did. It took them hours for practicing but Bea still hasn't improved. "You're amazing, Evan. How did you catch the fish?" Bea touches the fish Evan got from the ocean. They took wood and grilled the fish which serves as their food. "Did you like it?" Evan asked as he watch Bea eat the fish. "Careful with the bonefish." He reminded her. Bea gave her a thumbs up.

Revenge of the Billionaire's Wife

Revenge of the Billionaire's Wife

" Shawn replied seriously. Harah smiled sparingly. "The time will come when I will be able to meet the love you offer me.." Harah said seriously. Shawn nodded and hoped. They ate seafood first before Shawn taught Harah fishing using a rod. "It's great! It's fun to hunt. I caught a bangus!" Harah said happily. Shawn just shook his head because he caught Mackerel. It was huge. "Wow! That's big!" Harah was happy to be praised. Shawn grinned proudly. "Of course. I'm good." Shawn said with a raised eyebrow. Harah tormented him because of Shawn's arrogance.

The CEO Bought Me

The CEO Bought Me

Is it fooling me? "Are you on drugs?" I ask seriously. "No. Why?” I frowned when he asked and took a small one from my plate. "Seriously? Haven't you eaten it yet?” he immediately shook his head. I closed my open mouth and faced him. "This is Maruya. There is a banana in it and it is coated with just a mixture of flour and orange food coloring. Then sugar is added to make it tastier." He nodded and took another one. "This is good. Is this one of Filipino food?”

Good Girl in Action

Good Girl in Action

It wasn’t something new to me because I expect islands to be like this. I followed the battalion of red ants as they lined up toward their destination. My nostrils smelled a mildewy and fermented scent. The ants raced to the top of a tree where yellow bananas hang freely. “There you are,” I uttered. It wasn’t hard to harvest all of them. A banana has important nutrients that are enough to fuel us in the meantime. A medium-sized banana has about 150 calories, and it is rich in fiber and antioxidants. It reminds me of our training when I was younger. After we graduated, they sent the five of us to an island where they trained us. They gave us instructions on what to do. It was more of a tortur

What I read was one of the only few novels I like. The characters here are interesting and the story from the 1st chapter onwards it's great. I would like to tell what happened in story but no spoiler😆.
Monsoon Mangoes
What should I say about this story? It's just awesome. It got a good plot and appears promising. Author has done an awesome job in depicting the emotions portrayed by the characters n fantasy world build up. I usually don't read fantasy genre, but this one caught my eyes. Kudos to the author .........

The Art of Life and Love: The Second Symphony

The Art of Life and Love: The Second Symphony

It was difficult, but he'd do it for the awesome kid behind him. Until sometime around one, they bounced back and forth between the three piers. Dillon had caught a nice sized bluefish, but Mr. Jack beat him out with the sea bass he caught. The thing was almost three feet and it's mouth was huge. Tony could see the hunger in Dillon's eyes when he saw it. The kid didn't care if he won or lost, he only imagined how delicious the sea bass would be.

The CEO's Lavender Marriage

The CEO's Lavender Marriage

Perci replied. Cali realized what she had done. She looked away, and her eyes caught the container of bait. "We ran out of bait. Let's go home," Cali tried to break the awkwardness between them. They ran out of bait, so they decided to go home. Cali had caught one big fish, while Perci had caught three, and it was enough for their dinner. When they arrived at their house, Cali immediately ran with the rods in her hand. Perci carried the bucket of the fish they had caught.

Paint My World Red

Paint My World Red

“Red asked me to prepare this. Get well, my preciosa – Fabian.” I bit my bottom lip, feeling the heat creeping through my cheeks as I blushed and thought of Red. I did not bother to think about how it got there. I excitedly opened the thermal food bag containing a tumbler, a food container, and six bananas, to which my children personally wrote, and placed the small sticky notes with the ‘I love you’ message on each fruit. I chuckled, wiping the tears that rolled down my cheeks as I took the bananas out of the bag and thought about which one I should eat first. However, the food container with rice porridge with chicken and century egg carefully placed on top won my tummy’s desire. I took a

The Alpha's Reluctant Bride

The Alpha's Reluctant Bride

Maybe they have a factory here on this island or something, but this milk tea is so much better than my favorite store. I also saw a banana cue; it's a kind of banana that is called saba or cardaba and is usually used as an ingredient in some local dishes. Deep-fried bananas coated with caramelized brown sugar are used to make banana cue. I intended to merely rest for a few minutes before returning to the rides, but because of my drink and meal, I couldn't help but take my time while eating. I felt so much better after finishing my meal, and after discarding my trash, I went back to enjoying the rides.

Obedient Surrogate No More

Obedient Surrogate No More

End this terrible situation sooner. "I understand," Fiona lost her appetite and put down her chopsticks, "Take your time with your meal, I..." “Sit down,” Darwin looked at her. His gaze was sinister and terrifying. Fiona clenched her fist under the table tightly. "I've finished eating," she said. "I don't think you have," Darwin tapped his fingertips on the table, "Keep eating. Only when I say you're finished can you be finished!" Fiona understood, Darwin's temper was reaching a boiling point. To avoid more uncontrollable consequences, she gritted her teeth and picked up the chopsticks again. She continued eating calmly and slowly. Neither of them spoke again.
