PATIENT ZERO -The lone survivor
Baraka called out, his voice echoing over the low hum of the camp.
On the basalt precipice beside him, the nineteen-year-old obsidian-skinned mutant was panting heavily, his chest heaving. Jabari threw a jagged, glass-covered punch. The strike was blindingly fast, capable of slicing through military-grade Kevlar like a hot knife through butter.
Baraka didn't dodge. He brought his left forearm up, shifting the Star-Code energy just beneath his skin to create a hyper-dense kinetic barrier.
CLANG.
Jabari’s obsidian fist struck Baraka’s arm, sending a shower of black, glass-like sparks raining down onto the stone. The impact barely moved Baraka an inch.
