Their heads collided with a loud crash and they laid limp on the ground.

I knocked back the scotch, letting it burn down my throat. “An official deal,” he explained. “My team and I will assist in locating every other Wade woman… in Boston, Barcelona, New York, Vegas… name it.” Brad paused and then looked at him. “You didn’t want to get involved in this,” he reminded. “So what changed?” Titan cleared his throat, resting his large hands on the table. “I’m doing the Lord’s work.. help the helpless.” I sighed. It was a horrible, wet sound that echoed inside the helmet. The purple mist seeped through the joints of the armor. It ignored the steel. It went straight for the flesh inside.
