Bathroom In The Shining Novels & Stories

Immediately, I strip, grateful to get these sweat-soaked clothes off me and my bra off to free the girls. I go to step in the bathroom, and holy shit, it's gorgeous. The shower is huge, as expected, but what takes my breath away is that one of the entire walls in the shower is a window. It's the equivalent of the night now, and the moon gleamed in the sky. It was huge and magnificent, giving off an ethereal silver and white glow that bounced off the black marble of the shower.

Every step, she waited for pressure from my palm, then let herself topple in that direction, moving like she’d forgotten how to operate a body and was letting gravity decide everything. “Just here,” I said. “Watch the—” Her shin thumped against the raised edge of the tile and she didn’t even flinch. I winced for her. The bathroom was tiny, maybe four by six feet if you included the stall. A little plastic shower stall with a clouded glass door, the kind that was always sticky with someone else’s shampoo residue. I shut the main door behind us and the sound echoed.

I didn’t realise how big it would be until I walked over to take a shower and wash the day’s grime off my tired body. You could fit my shared room in the omega wing in here, with space to spare. The white bath sits on golden clawed feet in front of a stained glass, floor to ceiling window. The shower has no beginning or end, there is no curtain or partition, it just juts from the wall above the tiled floor which slopes gently towards a drain. The sink is big enough to bathe a small child and a huge mirror with daylight lamps either side of it hangs on the wall. Potted plants sit on several surfaces around the room and candles on tall, twisted holders sit in every corner.

He raised his hand, his finger pointing sharply toward a towering frosted-glass double door at the far end of the suite. I swallowed the bitter sob rising in my throat. I couldn't fight him, not when the room felt this suffocatingly close. I clutched the ivory satin gown against my chest, turned on my heel, and marched toward the frosted glass, pushing the doors open to escape his lethal glare. The master bathroom was a sanctuary of white marble, heated floors, and shimmering chrome fixtures. At the center sat a sprawling, walk-in glass shower equipped with a massive rain-head fixture.

Then she leans down, kisses me, just a brush, just a promise. — We're going to take a shower, she says. — Yes. — Together. I smile. Really. A smile that takes me by surprise, that lights up my face without my being able to stop it. — Okay. --- The bathroom is immense, like everything in this house. White marble, mirrors, soft light coming from everywhere and nowhere. The shower is an open stall, big enough for ten people, with multiple showerheads, side jets, a stone bench. She enters first. Naked, without shame, without modesty. She walks towards the jets, turns the taps. Hot water begins to fall, creating steam, fogging the mirrors.

I groan inwardly, my hand trembling as it reaches for the doorknob. “I should have picked Lemon or something else.” I pout, pushing the door open. I glance around the expansive bathroom, adorned with black gold marbles, glistening chrome fixtures, and a dark, chilly ambiance. Everything here mirrors who he is, and that honestly scares me. “Maybe he's still on his way,” I whisper, admiring the bathroom that looks as big as his chamber. The hot tub beckons to me, and I quickly remove my shoes to feel the cemented cool floor beneath my feet. Reveling in the coldness, I move deeper into the room.

Messing around with the knobs, I let out a content sigh as the water heated up. It was the nicest shower I had ever been in, with cobbled stone walls and a seat to the side of the shower. The bathroom itself reminded me of something you would see in a movie with it's shiny tiled floors and grand mirror hanging right above the sink. he instructs and finally disappears into the bathroom. What are we supposed to talk about? I move out of the bed and open the bathroom door again. My bathroom has its separate lavatory, and the shower and jacuzzi are on the other side, caged in a tinted glass wall, so I can still go in. I hear the water rushing in the shower. I see him in silhouette but immediately chastise myself for looking that way. What the hell is he doing anyway? What are we doing? I shake my head incredulously, grab my toothbrush, and watch my reflection as I brush my teeth.

Bookshelves lining one side of the wall filled with different books, There’s a massive mirror by the side of a well decorated dresser. My stomach rumbles again reminding me to hurry up and get down to dinner. Taking off my clothes, I walk into the bathroom. I’m in a glorious state of the art bathroom. Shower is enormous and has a frosted glass pane. It has four shower heads. By the sides is a bathtub made of marble, glistening like it had never been used. The intricate tile work laid out in black and white mosaics is stunning. I step into the luxurious shower leaving the bath tub for a later day.

Other times he would try to catch me going too and from the bathroom. Walking in, I stood in shock. The huge white bathroom was blinding. In the corner was a huge, circle jacuzzi bath with a waterfall shower head above. It looked like there was a white shower curtain pushed into the corner too. I looked past to the sink, a beautiful circle mirror above it. I will avoid that for now. I seen a door between the bath and the toilet, there couldn't possibly be another room. Opening it, I awkwardly burst out laughing.
