She’s in the bathroom. I walk toward it and find her submerged in the bathtub. The sight of her, immersed in the water, strikes me like a living painting of cold and distant beauty. Soft steam rises from the surface, blending with the dim light of aromatic candles strategically placed around the bathroom. The air inside is warm, filled with the scent of lavender and incense, creating an atmosphere of serenity, but also isolation. The shadows of the flames dance on the walls, casting ethereal shapes that seem to emphasize the emotional distance between us.

"Are you okay now? Not dizzy?" Amelia shook her head, "I'm fine thanks," she said as she walked into the bathroom and closed the door behind her, leaning against it for a few seconds and enjoying the relief of being alone at last. Looking around the room, I wonder where I am supposed to go to take a shower. “Through that door,” Gladys says and I wonder if she can read minds. Walking through the door to the bathroom, I see a small shower and a toilet. Inside the shower, I find nothing but a bar of soap, but it would have to be good enough. Turning on the shower I step inside and cringe as the cold water hits my body. “I don’t have all day,” Gladys yells through the door and I pick up the pace. She doesn’t seem like the type that I would want to keep waiting.

"Take your time." The bathroom was another shock; gleaming marble and silver fixtures, a shower big enough for three people, and a sunken tub that looked like it could double as a small swimming pool. I peeled off my dirty clothes with shaking hands, wincing as fabric stuck to the half-healed lashes on my back.

The big bed in the middle of the room is paired with two nightstands on each side and a dress across form it with a big mirror. Rushing to go check the bathroom I say “ I don't think you'll be able to get me back home” I look at Ashton over my shoulder because all I want to do now is get into that bathtub and take a bath while I watch the bird and the witches practicing magic outside the window. “ Can they see us in here?” I heard Ashton ask. “ No, it's a one-way mirror, you can get as naked as you want” she replies. Didn't have to tell me twice because I plan to spend as much time as I could in this bathroom because hell no. “ Did I lose you already?” Asthon wraps his arms around my waist.

She was glad to dispose of them in the trash on her way to the bathroom. The bathroom was beautiful, almost similar to the bathroom in his beach house except there was a door this time. The floor and ceiling were marble, the bathtub was marble, and beside it was a cubicle with a shower with marble tiles and glass walls. The last thing in the bathroom, the mirror was silver framed.

Multiple showerheads lined the walls, and the glass enclosure was so large that at least three people could fit inside comfortably. A rainfall showerhead hung from the ceiling. The whole space screamed luxury and indulgence.

And once more, my breath was stolen! The bathroom had been transformed into a cathedral of marble and light. Steam curled through the air like ghosts, and the shower wasn’t so much a shower as it was a waterfall spilling from a carved archway of black stone. So big it could fit ten people easily, as it glimmered faintly like liquid silver under the soft glow of unseen lanterns… The water cascaded in smooth ribbons, the sound a low and hypnotic hum that filled the space. My reflection shimmered on the surface, everything feeling almost unreal as I took it all in…

I pushed the covers off to reveal my naked body and I shivered remembering the beautiful moment we had shared before it all went to hell. I stood up from the bed. I was a little shaky and I ached between my legs like I had been doing a million squats only using my vagina. I sighed and walked gingerly towards the bathroom.
