Marco says, he’s right, everyone is tired. “Not this time Marco, I promised Devil her revenge, this time we’ll win, I assure you, not this time” I say promising him the win, I promised my girls. “They’ve hurt Devil Nikolai, things aren’t going well here” he says, he’s right but things are going to change now. “I know Marco, just tell them to trust me, I’m their boss, believe in me, this time would be the end, one final stand in this war” I say, this would be the end of the war, if we could kill their leader, we’ll be good to go.

We then instead continue off into reminiscing about some of the funny moments that have occurred in the past and had dropped the topic of yesterday’s incident completely, which was good since later that night it returned to me in the form of nightmares. 15 “My lord please, we promised to take them alive!” I exclaimed as I tried my best to keep myself from stabbing the man in front of me “Step aside filth” The knight reversed his lance placing his grip on the shaft and aiming the opposite end dull end of the lance at the bleeding farmboy lying on the grass. I heard the sound of bone cracking as the knight began thrusting the lance at the farmboy at first he cried out in pain then the blood be

"Go ahead." Kieran visibly relaxed, lifted David, and each pressed a kiss to her cheeks. "Good girl. Wait for us to come back, okay?" "Mommy, we'll see you in a little while!" With that, they hurried off, completely unaware of Tabitha's strange acceptance. They had no idea that this would be the last time they would see each other. She watched until Kieran's car disappeared from view, then tossed the already-burned-out candles and the cake into the trash. Returning to her bedroom, she picked up the prepared folder and stepped out the door.

Across the road, a black car started moving. I could see a silhouette behind the glass. Arthur. He looked directly at me. Then the car disappeared into the rain. The system was gone. The Covenant was gone. The archive was public. But Arthur was still alive. And the final battle had just begun.

Time to end this one way or another. ***

His knuckles turned a bloodless white as he gripped the edge of the terminal desk. "No." "Dante..." "I said f**king no, Bianca! I didn't pull you out of that sinking ship and fight through a thousand clones just to watch you turn yourself into a goddamn battery for a ghost-machine!" "It's not a battery! It's an Anchor! If I don't do it, the world ends! Look at the screens!" On the monitor, a city in the Midwest was burning. The wolves were dragging people from cars. It was chaos. It was the end of everything.

"The Caller is waking." The words landed like thunder. The Heart raised both hands. Silver power surged through the sanctuary. Trying to stabilize reality. Trying to hold everything together. But the cracks continued spreading. The End spoke again. Its voice no longer calm. No longer patient. Desperate. "Now you understand." The shadow stretched across the chamber. "This was never about defeating me." Another tremor. More cracks. More silver light. The sanctuary groaned. The End's voice echoed through the chaos. "The choice is whether you save the dream..."

"If you ever bother Calista again, I swear I'll personally ensure that the Slaters meet a fate worse than any filth in the gutter." It was then that several bodyguards nodded in unison and hauled the barely alive Emilio out of the room. He couldn't tear his gaze from the couple clinging to each other on the bed
