The mafia’s captive

The mafia’s captive

The city hummed, alive but blind to the battle building beneath its streets. In three nights, the Bone Crows would strike. And this time — the war would bleed directly into their home.

Mated To My Lycan Prince

Mated To My Lycan Prince

One by one, they roared at the moon, their decaying skulls turning stiffly, their dense fangs spreading slowly toward the brown wolf. I stared at the frightened brown wolf, who slowly backed away from the Bone Wolves' advances. But after him is the boundless lake, so he can not retreat. In the moonlight, the Bone Wolves on the shore ran towards him like a swarm of bees. Their white bones and fur almost drowned him. He couldn't cope with them. He attacked the Bone Wolves with all his strength, but the wounds on his body grew more and more. The Bone Wolves fought like an indefatigable machine.

Simmer

Simmer

Eyeless sockets stared eerily as they marched closer. Callie knew about them. They were part of Mammon’s army of the dead. They used to be men that made deals with him to win wars and now served him for eternity as payment. All three of them had crowns on their helmets signifying they were all once kings. Nadia didn’t hesitate and started throwing energy blast at one of the skeleton soldiers. Nicholas fought one off with his axe and with Bishop. Matthias joined the fight and made the earth rumble, causing the last skeleton to fall. Aubrey threw a potion at the fallen skeleton and whatever it was started eating through its armor and bones.

Fire Starter at White Day High

"Let's battle it out if you can!" Lucas saw his opponent backing up after that attack. Grimace appeared on the skeleton's face, as he prepared to battle him for Doll's sake. As the assailant raised his hand, Lucas saw piles of ashes being utilized in a gradual amount. He ordered for his team to back-up in pronto for a while. He didn't want them to be hurt.

The Battle Of The Alpha’s

The Battle Of The Alpha’s

She politely introduced herself, before clearing her throat. “As you will all know, myself and the Alpha’s of the Blood Moon Pack have recently competed in the first Battle of the Alpha’s for over a century where the winning Alpha takes ownership of both Shadow and Blood Moon. I’m sure you will all know by now that I, Alpha Brielle of the Shadow Pack, was crowned the winner.” She concluded, before giggling as an eruption of cheers and applauses broke out through the crowd by the Shadow Pack.

Becoming the Elf King's bride

Becoming the Elf King's bride

As Hugh's unconscious body slumped against the ground, his spell shattered like glass. The skeletal warriors crumbled where they stood, their bones turning to fine ash that scattered into the wind, disappearing without a trace, leaving behind only the mangled remains of those who had perished in the battle. Torn limbs, shattered weapons, and pools of blood were the only evidence that the battle had ever happened. Prince Ludiciel sighed in relief and dispelled his illusion. He had used up a lot of energy creating those illusions and was exhausted because he still had to fight and the skeletons did not go down easily. Their bones were as strong as iron.

Blood and Ashes

Blood and Ashes

We had our kind sprout throughout the city; we were worshipped, but then, one after the other, they died, leaving me behind. Roaming. Alone. I stood at the corner of the battlefield, invisible to the eyes of the wolf warriors; they fought in their wolf forms; they had put on fire, and it spread wide into the forest, slowly burning deep into the verse land. Blood painted the field. Lifeless bodies, both in wolf and human form were at every corner of the field. The weak ones who had given up on the fight fled for their lives. I have nothing to do with this treacherous, absurd activity; let them end their lives and let their blood be on their heads; let it be painted on their palms and in their

Fated to the Beast

Fated to the Beast

"Yes, these are the bones of creatures of darkness that have manifested as humans for thousands of years. They are different from the other shadow creatures who, if they die, will turn into dust or smoke. They are undetectable and hard to beat. Therefore, once they are defeated, their bones are like a cup." "Where did you get these bones exactly?" Rain was afraid to hear the answer. "After I kill them, of course!" Jace shrugged his shoulders. "Some of them who are very strong when they die will leave black bones like this." "Kill?" Rain was surprised when Jace recounted carelessly, like he killed a mosquito. "How many have you killed? I thought you were a man who…."

Misplaced Bonds of Blood

Misplaced Bonds of Blood

Only the elite got invites due to the Lynches' VIP status. My assistant swung by with my outfit just as I finished up with my makeup. "Ms. Brown, I'm actually getting excited!" I flashed her a grin, slipped into the dress, and made a beeline for the hotel. I had barely reached the front steps when I caught James and his family off guard with my arrival. I quickly realized I was at a disadvantage, with nothing to my name to back me up. James had that look of someone who just won the lottery, and with a security guard by his side, he swaggered up to me.

Rejected and Claimed

Rejected and Claimed

Declan finalizes and I glare at the brothers. "Goddess! You're such a pretty princess, even when you're mad at Cliff and Bones," Oona says. I arced a brow and looked down to her. "Who's Bones?" I ask. She points at Declan. "He's one of the strongest men in this pack. His fellow warriors call him Bones. I don't know why, but I think it may be because he's so strong. Now that you're going to be his wife. You have nothing to worry about because he's going to protect you forever." Little Oona says before dabbing her mouth with a towel.

For me it's a good book and I like it. The author is not going back and forth and repeating conversations again and again. I just hope she doesn't stretch the story for long. Even though I will still read it haha (I did not finish my last comment because I exceeded the limit)

I’m really enjoying it so far. I like the concept and the drama with her mates all wanting a piece of her. Fl and her wolf have a pretty unique relationship which is cool. Her reasoning for wanting to escape at first feels a little weak/forced. But besides that it’s a unique and engaging read.
