"Why are you screaming in the morning, Mariana?" He asked annoyed. Mira noticed Mariana looking bothered. "Tyson! Our men found his dead body near the graveyard in the midnight..."

HOSPITAL “I need to leave,” Twilight said to the man lounging in the chair across from her. He simply stared at her blankly, as though he hadn’t heard a word. “Didn’t you hear me? I said I need to leave!” she snapped, but Eric remained silent. Sighing, Twilight reached to remove the IV drip connected to her arm. “Don't you dare,” Eric warned, stopping her. Twilight shut her eyes in frustration, then snapped a cold glare at him. It's Becca's birthday, and she knew Becca would be fuming by now.

Theron's POV The day of the event was finally here. This is the day I officially put Twilight on the map. Another success to celebrate. Many of my past lovers have been calling nonstop to accompany me to the event but I turned them all down. I don't want any drama tonight so I decided to just go alone.

And they were dying. Kael reached the camp as the sun disappeared below the horizon, plunging the world into twilight. The scene before him was chaos. Cabins burned, their flames casting orange light across the clearing. Bodies lay scattered on the ground—wolves who had tried to fight back, wolves who had tried to flee, wolves who had simply been in the wrong place at the wrong time. The attackers were vampires.

Third-person POV Seconds later, a body crashed through the office's window. "Oof, he fucked up," Youhei commented. "You hit the wrong woman, you pathetic piece of crap," Twilight said while coming out of the pack house and wiping the blood from her nose. "Come on and duel me if you're the so-called man you claim to be. I'll even level the playing field and not involve shifting or weapons. Unless you’re scared of facing little old me as I am."
