In a swift wave of his hands, a mist of black smoke moves, cutting off the heads of the other two.

Great killing intent suddenly burst out above the magma torrent, as if it was winter in an instant. The mysterious figure in the straw rain cape stood up, and the straw hat on his head exploded, revealing a black head. It had no facial features but a light mass the size of a head, swaying with black demonic fog. Two scarlet flames flickered in it like a pair of evil eyes, which looked extremely gloomy and horrible. At this moment, the otherworldly immortal picture of the cyan boat, the straw hat, and the straw rain cape was instantly ruined.

It’s like a mouth of darkness opening it’s jaws ready to devour anything near it. I can’t see anything past this black domineering shape, it’s commanding and obliterating all light that enters into it. The little air and light left around the black hole caves toward it, casting the appearance of the landscape to be spinning in slow motion, bending to the will of this black hole. It’s mesmerizing and terrifying. Just as my eyes begin to fully process what’s before me, a cacophony of screeches, growls, and cries, shoot out from the sky. Something hits the back of my head and my face plants into the dirt.

I know I shouldn't look back to see what those things are flying towards us, but something seems to be compelling me to go do it. A voice seems to be whispering in my head and telling me that I should look. And no matter what I do, I can't shake it off my mind. Then I end up turning around to see the things flying towards us. Bats. Gigantic black bats with red eyes and sharp fangs, their wings as wide as a fence. They're screeching and flying lower, their sharp claws outstretched.

Even their communications had been abruptly severed upon entering the area.
