I ceased my brows in bamboozlement as he sat listlessly on one of the branches of the sapling. Is he unhappy that I won?. I looked at the other two to realise they were staring at me. Why did it feel like they have been doing that for a long?. "What? what's with the leering?" I grumbled. Earth's languid demeanour was igniting some feeling in me that I don't have a grip on it. And these two were annoying me. "I am just wondering....are you actually dumb or pretending to be? Are you blind or faking" I heard Arthur utter out his balderdash words, once again.

I gave myself a high five in my mind because I answered it without stammering but saying I only like books was not actually a good idea. I sighed and shook my head slightly at my dear boring life. " You sure like books alot Anna,guess we ain't in the same boat ." Caleb siad as he chuckled slightly. Way to go Anna you just made yourself seem like a freak that just loves her books and nothing more. "What do you dislike then?" He asked and something just popped into my mind. One one that was it. "Bullying…" I said as I paused before speaking again,I was trying to recollect myself.

Scene – Meadow Park, Saturday Afternoon The sun beamed like a blessing, casting golden light across the green stretch of Meadow Park. Birds chirped lazily. A soft breeze rustled through the trees, and the city, for once, felt like it had slowed down. A red-and-white checkered blanket lay spread under a tall almond tree. A Bluetooth speaker hummed with soft Afrobeats, and plastic containers filled with banana bread, puff-puff, jollof rice, and suya were arranged like a feast.

"The university is in Barcelona. I'll be here." Noa considers this. Then: "But different." "Yes," Clara says. "Different." Noa nods. The assessment face. Satisfied with the answer. The bowl, made correctly, in every person at this table. In different forms. The same making.

She took the blanket and covered her face, and I threw my head back laughing. My days are going to be blissful from now on... I removed the blanket and got on top of her. “Show me the edible gel… then I can eat you, and we can go for round two.”

Danny POV I whispered halfheartedly, “I’m number 7 in the Paradise Cove Trailer court.” I leaned back in my seat. Biscuit laid his big block head on my lap as the truck fired up again. I let my eyes close. My mind began whirling, I saw colors all mixed together they kept spinning faster and faster. “Make it stop,” I pleaded. It was making me dizzy. A vortex of faces and voices came out of the whirling colors. I couldn’t see any one in particular, only that there were many. They were crying and scared. Their combined voices got louder and louder until it sounded like howling and I thought my head would split from the sound. Then everything went black and it all stopped.

I like to stir shit.”, Aella said as she flicked her hair away dramatically. “People say that who stirs shit will eventually lick the spoon.”, Blaze said as he looked for bandages and swabs.
