Nights With The Bloodthirsty

Nights With The Bloodthirsty

I blinked, looking back at Yvonne with a scrunched-up face, "I thought you were talking about vampires- how did you get to that rich, arrogant, cold bad boy again? He's all that, but you still call him eligible?" "He's not a boy. He's a man. Famous, handsome, yet frightening at times. Kassandra did tame him. It's a difficult job, so props to her," she says with a smile while I shudder at the sound of her name. Unable to take any more of her unnecessary information, Giselle got up from her seat, seeing that the sun had gone down. The street lights lit the empty, clean road outside of the cafe. A group of police passed by holding two children that must have been missing their parents again.

The Transcendent Zombie System

She ascertained that everyone in the Northern Wilderness Prairie had heard of Northern Wastelands Alliance. "I'm not from the Northern Wilderness Prairie," Lucas said slowly. Hearing this, Ansley finally understood his point. "Human!" "Did you bring those powerful zombies here?" Suddenly, a furious voice traveled into Lucas' ears. Lucas looked in the direction of the voice and saw a Rank 3 Ultimate God Ranked Realm Dark Races appear in his field of vision. Ansley suddenly shouted from the side, "Green and Yellow Monster!" ... "Green and Yellow Monster?" Lucas thought that the name sounded a little interesting. He realized that the body of the Green and Yellow Monster was bluish-yellow all ov

I genuinely love this book, only problems I have with it is the fact that he never actually travels with the people he gets to join him (hattie Mia etc) I wish there were more interaction between them all. second is that there are only 2 or so chapters a day....I have plenty of coins to waste...

Haunted Beasts

Haunted Beasts

I ask, needing a confirmation of what I already know. "You already know Sarrtina. There's Zacharie and Hasiah and they are just as dangerous as Sarrtina, if not more. Then there's Achilles." "She's the blonde?" "Yes." Zaralina says. "What makes her truly evil and vicious is the world of pain which has created so much darkness inside of her." For some reason I want to know more about this Achilles. When I saw her in my dream I felt like I knew her from somewhere, her eyes were oddly familiar. But it could be because all these nonhuman eyes look very similar.

They felt strong and heavy, holding me in place so I could not run. I could not move. I could not scream. My heart slammed against my ribs like a trapped bird. I slowly looked up at his face as he pulled back just an inch. My eyes went wide with a new kind of terror. His eyes were not human anymore. They were glowing a bright, haunting yellow in the dark. He was not normal. He was a beast. Terror hit me so hard that I felt sick to my stomach. I realized that I was in the arms of a monster.

Call of Night

Call of Night

Kill my friends. “No,” I say through gritted teeth. I push myself up and tendrils of yellow light rise up around my fingers. The only other time I’ve ever conjured yellow light was when I healed the vampire bite on my neck, and that was according to Lucas. I’ve never seen it before, but this…this is so much more than yellow.

Her Beastly Biker

Her Beastly Biker

No, this was about losing something that he thought he owned. Drake growled, and Samantha turned her head sharply in his direction. "All right, My Beast, don't start breathing fire. Cool heads need to prevail here." "Your Beast, huh?" Drake smirked. "Yeah. You're name is Drake. That's a dragon, you sounded like your were about to roar, you were definitely growling, I think if you get mad enough, you might just breathe fire. So, My Beast." Vulcan watched this by-play with a great deal of humor. The woman shouldn't know his friend that well. But, it seemed that she did, indeed know him, and know him well.

Cathy And The Beast

Cathy And The Beast

He began muttering an incantation and the chanting around the brazier grew louder, vibrating through the walls and floor. As the chanting reached what seemed like its peak, a wave of raw power erupted from the brazier, targeted at Alden. He gasped as the force hit him, washing over him. I struggled against the ropes that bound me, a cry escaping my lips. I could see Karken's and Herb's faces in the shadows, contorted with panic and worry. Alden roared as a yellow light erupted from within him. It was a sound so beastly, so primal. It was evident the force was tearing at him as the yellow light intensified. The robed figures continued their chanting, their voices now at a fever pitch.

Mated to the beast

Witch! "Just pull off all your clothes and hand them over to us". Lilly's mother said. I removed my clothes slowly. After staying stark naked, for what seemed so long, we heard a loud and powerful howl. It was Damian, he was obviously, the first person among us all to shift.

Well worth the wait! Your 55 chapters are more like 250 chapters of other authors. Your chapters are long, detailed and fully packed with more intrigue. The guard? I’m team Kayos, but it’s so beautiful how tender the guard was with her to let her know he will honor her…but I think there’s more.

This book is so good. I love the writing, the characters, the story and the execution. Perfection at its core but I have a problem, please could you release a chapter at least once a week. It’s not fair because I’m basically hooked on this book and I don’t get regular updates.

Frequently Asked Questions

The King in Yellow' is this eerie, almost hypnotic collection of short stories that feels like stepping into a dream where reality's edges are frayed. Robert W. Chambers published it back in 1895, and it's got this weird cult following—especially among horror and weird fiction fans. The first half is pure cosmic dread, revolving around a fictional play (also called 'The King in Yellow') that drives anyone who reads it to madness or despair. It's like 'The Ring' but with a decadent, fin-de-siècle twist. The second half shifts to romantic tales, but that eerie vibe lingers.

What fascinates me is how it influenced Lovecraft and later creators. The play within the book is never fully revealed, just hinted at—like whispers of something unspeakable. Lines like 'Have you seen the yellow sign?' or references to Carcosa (a mysterious city) pop up in modern stuff, from 'True Detective' to video games. It's not just horror; it's about the fragility of sanity, the allure of forbidden knowledge. I reread it last Halloween and still got chills from 'The Repairer of Reputations,' where a guy's delusions blur with reality. It's the kind of book that sticks to your ribs.
