NARRATIVE POV This massive male was giving orders. His presence was commanding and dark. Yes. He had a pulsating darkness around him, but it oddly called to her. It matched the darkness that filled her hollow soul. It coursed through her veins. His body was riddled with deep scars. He was a war beast. Beast. CC wondered if this was the Beast that the rogues were referring to. The name suited him. She couldn’t imagine this behemoth doing mundane everyday errands like running to the supermarket in a minivan after dropping off the pups at soccer. He was raw and dangerous.

Third Person's POV Atticus and Harris walk into the backyard and are immediately greeted by the loud joyful sound of children playing throughout the backyard. There's a large bounce house where half of the kids are playing, and the other half are taking turns riding on the large bear. The children giggle as they chase behind the bear that's larger than an Alpha wolf. Beast is incredibly large and scary, but he carefully moves through the backyard with the children closely tagging along beside him. He's anything but scary to the children. He's the gentle giant as Mark calls his mate.

Of course Christopher Henry Jameson—also known as Beast- wasn't the average man. He stood 6'5" and weighed three hundred and two pounds. He didn't like the extra three pounds. He rather liked being in the two hundred weight range even if it was by just one or two pounds. Regardless, there wasn't an ounce of fat on his perfect body. Beast was muscles on top of muscles, yet not hulking like some of the others that worked in the Marine Corps division assigned to The Department of Home Land Security, or better known as DHS. Too big made you slow. He'd seen guys bigger than him hospitalized during the CRUCIBLE training.

"Hehe sorry." I turn my attention back to Damian. "She said you are a demon." I step away from him. "But yet you don't act like one. Yes your eyes change color but you don't try to harm anyone or kill them. You haven't stolen any souls either… as far as I know. And your aura isn't dark either like a demon's would be. We're going to need some help with this." I head into my work room and set the herbs down as I grab a piece of paper and an envelope. I dip my feather in the ink and start to write a letter to my close friend's Bella and Casey. Bella is a Psychic Siren and Casey is a Cosmic Warlock. If anyone knows anything about what Damian could be, it's them. I finish up the letter and put it

The Beast. He was surprised to say the least, that Professor Ridley-Forrester was a young, Asian woman. She was about as intimidating as a butterfly. Had his brother been joking about her reputation? Sure, he’ll admit that the woman possessed great self-defense skills but nothing about her screamed evil bitch. Evan decided to introduce himself. Without another thought, he strolled onto the mat, stopping in front of the petite woman.

"Hardly unarmed, My Dragon." "Time to go home, My Beastly Biker." She smirked up at him, then turning, she walked to the other side of the car to get in. Wyatt The Beast blocked me out as I tried to force my way through the chaos of energy discharging throughout our territory. My panic and distress were nothing to him as he glanced over our shoulder, towards the island, towards Bri, before he pursued his trekking around the swamp. The boys whined in protest, Beau elicited a short-lived snarl before The Beast projected his aura forcing everyone to comply. Heads down, ears slack, tails tucked.
