Fur bristled along his frame, his eyes burning with a feral hunger that erased anything familiar. His mouth hung slightly open, breath hot and uneven, a faint glint of saliva catching at the edge of his teeth as he looked at me like I was something already claimed. “You’re mine now,” he growled. I shook my head hard. “No!” I screamed, kicking and thrashing, fighting for any chance to break free. “Help! Somebody—please!”
