The Forgotten King
The feeling of leather scraping and ripping up my arms encourages me, even more, to stay down.
I lay there for some time trying to think of ways to get out. Anxious fantasies that remind me more of nightmares overcome my head. Scared, I start panicking, this can't be happening. I feel my breathing get faster and faster. My head gets light and airy, my fingers tips numb. Before I knew it, the darkness had taken over.
I jump when a loud bang erupts, looking to my side seeing a pile of old books thrown on the table. "Now, now, prince-y. You can't sleep yet, you need to be awake for this." They say lightly slapping my cheek.
