The nightmare was worse than usual. It wasn't just fragments this time; it was a full, suffocating reel. The dusty carpet smell, the crushing weight, the paralyzing fear—it was so vivid he woke up choking on a scream, his heart hammering against his ribs like a trapped bird. The digital clock on his bedside table glowed a merciless 2:17 AM.

And somewhere in the shadows of my quiet apartment, something very old… stirred. I finally summoned courage to slam the book shut with a sharp snap that echoed through my quiet apartment. , I screamed when I felt someone is shaking my shoulders. *** " Cassandra, wake up! You're having a nightmare!", she slowly opened her eyes and she saw Lucy. She quickly got up and she felt the dryness in her throat. She's still shaking and her dreams seem so real. She quickly wrapped her arms around her friend's body. "I'm scared, Lucy. He's here! He's going to kill me!", Cassandra looks paranoid. Her eyes won't stop blinking like she saws a ghost. " Hey, no one will hurt you. I'm here beside me. He's not real, okay! It's just a bad dream. Calm down." She is trying her best to comfort her friend.

Then I heard a high pitched scream that hurt my ears , I cover them but I can't but crying, I woke up screaming from the pain I felt in my ears , finally awake . I saw blood all over my hands reaching to my sleeves, I was terrified by the blood I stared at it as I felt what I am seeing ,the blood in my hands , my eyesight is hazy going right and left , I can't focus , that great headache I can't stop it , I touched my head I was moaning , I felt something wet yet warm poured down to my neck , I felt it was drenching from inside of my ears , suddenly the doors were slammed hard and i imagined a ghost of big man leaving my room , I was almost about to scream again , I though I was still asl

No one except the man. The lights flickered. Static buzzed in the bulbs. Electricity crackled. The carriage was plunged into darkness, just a split second of impenetrable black that filled my mouth, my nose, my ears, like thick, dank water, choking me, drowning me. When the lights exploded back into life, I saw it. A sheen of silvery skin on the man's cheek, harsh white reflecting off scarred flesh. It was a brief flicker of a bad dream. A touch of a nightmare; there and then gone again so quickly that I had to blink away the haze, but I knew I'd seen it, I'd seen him .

After they left, she curled in her bed with her book and flipped the first page. A picture of the Demon Prince met her eyes. Anubis. Even as a mere drawing, she felt the power and darkness from his gaze. His wings, enormous black feathers rising from his back, were spread open behind him, like an angel of death. She flipped to the next page and began to read. Soon her eyes turned heavy and she fell into a deep sleep. ... She awakened suddenly to terrified screams. She jerked upright in bed, her ears ringing loudly. The thick smell of smoke wafted into her room, choking her.

“What the bloody hell is that?” I moved away from Ryker, my eyes were solely fixated on the book. Wiping away the shattered glasses, I did not care if it would hurt me. Once it was clean, I read the book to Ryker. “It is the Book of The Damned.” All I wanted was to get a hold of that book and satisfy my curiosity but when I did, I could feel the power surging from the book, my hands were painfully attached to it. Then the book opened, forcing my palm to hold it up the pages started to flip rapidly. So many images flashed through my mind but none of which I recalled. The book slammed shut and I blinked. I turned to Ryker and swallowed before finding my voice to speak, “Did you see that?”

She notices a little book under the scattered documents. She opens the first page 'Drago Morningstar' is written on it, strange name, she thinks. She opens the next page 'Nightmare' is written on it. The word catches her attention, " Nightmare" she mumbles. "Nightmare" Rachael mumbles. A little force bends the air around the table as breeze brushes some documents to the ground. Suddenly, the book starts to flip pages by itself and Rachael panics. She runs to a corner of the office and looks in fear .
