NADIA'S POV. “Do you want Hansel and Gretel?” I asked Zelda and Zayn, as I flipped through the pages of a large storybook I had found in the library. “Nope. I want Beauty and the Beast.” Zayn replied. “No! That's too boring. I want to listen to Sleeping beauty.” Zelda replied, blushing. “How many times do we have to listen to that! I know all the lines in my head.” Zayn snapped with a cute pout, as he crossed his arms in an odd way. Each hand held the other arm when they were supposed to be tucked in his chest.

Flipping the page over, I read a few more lines. The book was quite intriguing. But after a few pages, it was slipping out of reality and going through some non realistic stories. By the time I read my third fairytale story about a fairly young woman getting lost at sea and ended up falling in live with a beast that lived beyond the lands of the five Kingdoms, I softly closed the book and let out a sigh. "That was fun." Prince Victor sarcastically commented before lifting his arms over his head and letting out a loud yawn.

Her hair too was much fuller, the brown appeared darker, and it was more lustrous. “How did this happen? What were those things you kept pouring in?” she asked in awe, as she continued to stare at the mirror. “Secret recipes for beauty, passed on for generations. Can't you see how beautiful our women are?” Aida asked and giggled. Avril smiled and sat down on the chair, still looking at herself in the mirror. Gia opened the drawers in the vanity and began to bring out some things. “Do you have any for making women sexy? I noticed some of your women are extra curvy,” Avril said and remembered the woman who had held Dakar's hand. She frowned immediately.

I paused when my fingers landed on the book I had been previously reading, the one the King had told me specifically to stay away from. Without much thought, I grabbed the book and turned to the chapter I had last stopped on, it was called soulmates to the beast. I read for what felt like hours about what the villagers thought about the beast and I found myself growing more and more afraid, the more and more I read. He had wiped out villages all around the castle in a rampage of anger, he killed thousands of people and left their bodies in the street and only stopped once the sun began to rise again and the sky became painted as red as the blood on his body.

I looked down at the girl who looked sleepy in my arms. “Sure, princess.” I picked her and led her to my room with her favourite story book. I laid her down on my bed and covered her properly with the blanket. Laying beside her, I opened the book to read her all time favourite story, “The Beauty and The Beast”. “I want to listen the Sleeping Beauty.” She said but her heavy eyes were indicating that she might pass out sooner. “Leah, can I ask you a question about your friend Ace?” I asked her in a hope she could give me a lead.

Channeling a sudden surge of raw kinetic power through my torso, I break her hold and fling her backward, sending her body crashing heavily onto the stone floorboards. She sits sprawled on the concrete, her eyes fracturing with a wave of deep, ugly heartbreak as she lets out a sharp shriek. "Your inner beast is still howling for Chika Whitmore, is it not? Even after the Afolayan Dominion stamped their marriage mark onto his flesh, your station refuses to terminate the signal!"

I reached out and grabbed his chin softly, then tilted his face up so I could see him properly. I was shocked. Speechless. I did not expect this… this kind of beauty. My heart flipped, but I didn’t pay attention to it. His hair was a warm brown, slightly messy like he’d been running his fingers through it. His eyes were a deep, normal shade of green, but they held something that hit me harder than I wanted to admit. He was breathtaking in a quiet, unguarded way that most people in our world had long lost. Too bad I’m here for his sister, not him.

She quickly pointed on whatever she could make a conversation out from. Looking at it, he smiled. Walking toward the chair, he took a comfortable seat before calling her in with his hand. “Come.” Belle followed him blindly only for her to feel him pulling her in to sit on his laps. He wrapped his hand around her waist, slowly opening the book before her. Belle who was first flustered was surprised when she saw a beautiful illustration on the first page of the book. “This is…?” “It’s a famous story. About a witch and a demon,” Leon’s long finger slowly caressed the drawing. “It’s a very famous story in Hell and a comfort story for me”

Denera The library was really quiet like it usually is in a library. But this time, there was no one else there at all. It even felt a little bit dusty. I remember feeling amazed when I first came in here. There were so many books, it was like a dream come true. I even felt like the character Belle from the story Beauty and the Beast. But now, three hours have passed, and I've already read two books. The first one was about the history of the pack, but it got kind of boring, so now I'm reading a fanfiction story about werewolves and vampires that someone wrote.
