The Luna in Me
My skin was alive, hot, shimmering in the sunset glow, my breath breaking in tiny, desperate sounds.
The goddess stepped closer - her light bathing me - and for a moment, everything inside me felt like it might melt into the lake itself. My thighs trembled. My stomach fluttered in waves. A warm, dizzy pressure built in my chest, curling downward in slow, intoxicating spirals. The mist tightened again - and I gasped, almost falling to my knees. The goddess caught me without touching me.
“You will learn what you are.”
The warmth deepened. Swelled. Threatened to consume me. And I surrendered to it - wholly, helplessly, beautifully.
