Riley’s POV The fall was chaos. Loose dirt. Shattered roots. Flying stone. My shoulder slammed into something hard, then I was tumbling, scraping, choking. Someone crashed into me mid-fall. The sound was swallowed by the roar of collapsing earth. Then I hit the bottom. Pain exploded through my back and side.
