The Crimson Grimalkin - Book 5

The Crimson Grimalkin - Book 5

Stopping her pacing, Althea turns to us, “Come with me, I want to show you something. It’s time.” There was still so much I wanted to ask and craved to know. Tawny and I followed her as she led us to the back of the room and pulled at a book from a bookcase that covered the entirety of the wall. The book fell back into its place, a loud creek and groan came from the bookcase and a puff of air sounded as the bookcase opened and revealed a hidden door. “That’s some neat shit,” Tawny whispered up at me. And I had to agree, it was pretty cool. I would never have known the hidden doorway existed, even if I was looking for it.

Ms. Supernatural
I absolutely love this book, actually, the whole series! I’m sure I’m not alone in saying that this series should not only be published in hardcover but transformed into either an epic movie or miniseries! I would definitely buy DVDs!! You have an amazing imagination and a gift for being an author!

I really enjoyed this series. Many books on this platform have similar stories, which gets boring really fast. This book series kept me entertained the whole time. It had the perfect balance of romance and action. I enjoyed getting to know each character in more detail as each book was added.

Ashmoor Unseen Wolf

Ashmoor Unseen Wolf

Dust motes floated in the air like lazy ghosts. Eva led me to the tall bookshelf behind the principal’s desk. “Help me move it.” she said. Together, we shoved. The shelf groaned like it resented being disturbed, inching aside to reveal a metal door, cool and strange, etched with glowing runes that pulsed faintly in the dark. I stared, breath catching in my throat. “How did you move this alone the first time?” “I didn’t,” she said, voice flat. “I had help.”

I said. “It doesn't have to mean anything,” Rowan reasoned, but I was already by the door. I ran back to the lab, finding the spot Catherine had been looking at. Enzo and Rowan joined me a moment later, surveying the nearly empty shelf with nothing but a single book on it. I picked up the book and heard a faint click. Then the whole shelf began to slide to the side, revealing a door with a key panel. “Holy shit,” Enzo muttered.

BEHIND CLOSE DOORS

BEHIND CLOSE DOORS

Elizabeth sighed, patting her softly in the back. Minutes passed by before the mother and daughter let go of each other and wiped away their tears, “oh, that reminds me, I had taken a room downstairs and I found a tape under my pillow and I kept it over there," Elizabeth said, pointing at the dining table. Irene frowned, "a tape?” She asked and Elizabeth nodded, she turned immediately and went to the dining to see what she was talking about.

Kiss For The Sin

2 FAM. My gaze automatically shifted to the bookshelves inside the room and my eyes widened in realization. "I got it" I said and find the 131.2 FAM book on the shelves. I know that numbers and letters. That's the format when finding a book in the library. My forehead creased when I face a brown old book after following the 131.2 FAM. I reach it and was about to pulled it out when suddenly something click and then the shelves move. I step back and I come to realization upon seeing a single door entrance. It is a secret door hidden behind the shelves. I open it carefully and I gasp when an outline map greeted me.

Bitter Heart

Bitter Heart

If he hadn't been staying over at that mansion-like house, where his other friends were, where was he staying then? "This key is supposed to open that door." I jerked my chin at the hidden door behind the tall, brown shelf. "And the locker is inside." Never in my life had I ever gone past this door. I didn't even remember ever coming around this storeroom as a kid; it always creeped me out. "Go ahead." Caden broke the silence.

Okay it was a good story but I am still really confused. Why did BM get her to sneak out (and ultimately start her meet-cute) When she asked him about it, he said because I needed to make sure it was you…Or something But it was never really explained.

great read, got myself pulled right into this amazing story. there is love, action, intense twists and more. the ending could have more details on what exactly happened and also there is still this untold mystery of the metal discs and the crystal...would love to read a sequel ...

My Disabled Billionaire Husband

My Disabled Billionaire Husband

I pushed it again, this time with more force. The bookshelf moved slightly and I stepped back in surprise. “What?” I stared at it for a moment before pushing it again. This time, it moved enough to reveal a small opening behind it. My eyes widened in shock. There was a room behind the bookshelf. I looked toward the door and my curiosity got the better of me. I turned the knob and stepped inside. The room was different from the rest of the mansion. It was quieter, with large windows that allowed enough sunlight to enter. It appears Simone doesn't hate sunlight afterall.

My Stepfather Is My Mate

My Stepfather Is My Mate

Maybe a good book was just what I needed to clear my mind and find some peace. I had been curious about the libraries. Knight told me about its vast collection of rare books and artifacts but had yet to see it for myself. As I climbed the stairs to the third floor, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. When I finally reached the door of the library, I stopped and took a moment to admire the craftsmanship of the wooden door. The intricate carvings depicted scenes of ancient mythology, and I couldn't help but be impressed by the level of detail that went into its creation. The door seemed to radiate an aura of mystery and intrigue, beckoning me to come closer.

Wow so many updates should I be happy or surprised? I think both. I love the way this story going on... The hunters, Elves, and wolves. It's so much of my type with way too much of fantasy characters. And I love that author is thinking about side characters as well. The 18+ part is just so ............

This book started off good but took off in another direction, like it was a completely different book. Some of the chapters don’t even match up with what’s going on or with the characters in the book. I’ve read this far just to see how it ends but the story keeps changing.I’m done wasting $

Knowing Jude

Knowing Jude

"Solid Chelsea fan." I open the first door to the left of the hallway and wait for him to step in, then I go after him and close the door. I lead the way past blocks of bookshelves to the other side of the room, and I hear him making appreciative noises. "I don't think I fully understood how much of a bookworm you are until this moment," he says, and I can hear the sound of his fingers thumping against the spines of the books. "Who ever said I'm a bookworm?" I ask, placing the glasses on a table beside a large window that opens to part of the backyard and lets in most of the light in the room. "If anything, you are the bookworm. Have you seen your transcript?"

Such an honest story. Explores the many struggles teens can deal with, the hell and trauma life can bring, the pain of loss and grieving, the sweetness of your first love, the pain of addiction. Really tugs at your heartstrings. Can’t wait to read book 2 and hope the author updates book 3 soon!

The Mafia's Charming Mate

The Mafia's Charming Mate

My fist folded in happiness, and a smile landed on my face. I couldn’t be happier that I had finally found something to keep me company. In excitement, I reached for a book on the upper part of the shelf, but what happened next took me aback. The shelf moved on its own, shifting slightly to the left. I took a cautious step back, my heart pounding. A door was revealed behind it. “What is this?” I whispered to myself, my eyes widening. I hesitated between moving closer and just returning the book so the shelf could close back. I decided it would be best to return the book, but curiosity took the best of me, and I walked forward to touch the door.
