Luna's Calling: Marked Through Trials

Luna's Calling: Marked Through Trials

I took another book from a different author, which he, of course, immediately had a comment about. And when I opened another book, another of his random facts came once again. And again. And again, until all the books I had collected to read had been reduced to nothing more than the work of ‘amateurs’ who knew nothing about real-life events. With a loud thud, I stood up. “Pray tell, what book in this terrible library is actually worthy of your approval, Ser Orpheus? Because every single damned book I have opened is either incomplete or completely incorrect,” I said, clenching my jaw.

Perfectly Wrong For Me

Perfectly Wrong For Me

“No public display of affection when out with the commoners.” “These are ridiculous!” Pamela looked up with a frown. “Full of shit!” Zita dropped the book. “It's like the book was designed to suck all the fun in life.” “The most annoying part is that I can't even work anymore because I'm going to be a princess.” Kim angrily said. “This is just like a trap to snatch all my rights from me.” “It's not too late, you know? I can take you out of here.” Zita scoot closer to her. “We can leave all these behind.”

Loving the Wrong One

Loving the Wrong One

I said, "Marrying you in our last life was my biggest regret. I don't love you anymore. I don't want a child with you. Stop living in the past. I'm never going back there." Finn froze, hurt evident on his face. I didn't care about his feelings at all. I simply turned and left the room. He shouted after me, "All men are the same! Do you really think that Damien cares about you? Why would the wealthiest man in Abgate City want an ordinary woman?

The wrong brother.

The wrong brother.

Looking back at felicia it felt like a strange hiccup just came over her. “That was a mistake…” She snared. “Oh, if that's so, what gives you the right to call someone else the sane name you clearly represent.” Ezekiel was really calm about the comeback, he was protecting me and for the first time in my life i felt peace. “Name your price, woman.” Ezekiel said, with a smile. “Price? Are you trying to buy my silence? Look here you bitch….” “Her name is Lauren..” Ezekiel corrected her almost immediately.

Choosing Wrong Twice

Choosing Wrong Twice

I quietly looked at him, my heart no longer hurting as much as I had imagined it would. “Luca,” I called softly. The child immediately looked up, as if grasping onto his last bit of hope. “When you grow up, you’ll understand that liking one person doesn’t mean you can use another person as a stepping stone. “You looked down on me for being injured, not being able to hold a gun steadily, or being the mother you wanted. Those things were real. “And your regret today is real, too. “But regret doesn’t take back words that have already been spoken.”

The Wrong One Fired

She had fallen to this point because she had brought it all on herself. In the end, no one ever earned money beyond their own understanding. Anything one gained by accident would eventually be taken back—just in another form.

Memory of the Wronged

Memory of the Wronged

He wanted to believe the machine was wrong, that my memories were confused, that the sister he adored couldn’t possibly be that cruel. “I told you many times,” I whispered weakly. “You just chose to believe Emily.” My eyes drifted shut again. The pain was unbearable, and the exhaustion heavier than anything I had ever felt. Steve hesitated, his face torn between disbelief and guilt, then turned toward our parents. Ben remained silent. Mary suddenly broke down. “Lily, we were wrong. I didn’t realize how much you’d been through. I thought Emily was just being playful.” Playful. That word said everything.

Making the Wrong Choice... Again

Making the Wrong Choice... Again

Every day, she wore heavy makeup at home, and as soon as night fell, she would go out clubbing with her good-for-nothing friends. When Jacob saw me arrive, he excitedly turned on the TV, which was broadcasting the moment of the lottery draw. Jacob held his lottery ticket and checked the numbers one by one, terrified of missing a single thing. When he realized the numbers didn't match, he froze in place. "How is this possible? How? I was sure it was today!" he mumbled. His face went white, and his lips trembled. After he returned to his senses, he yelled at Quinn, "This isn't right! This isn't the jackpot number! Quinn, what's going on?"

The Wrong Woman

The Wrong Woman

It was cluttered with books and materials of all sorts. Several opened books were scattered on the computer table, with red marks and notes scrawled across the pages. Someone had been studying very hard there. Nathan slowly walked over and flipped through the books. Psychology? He frowned as he took in the room. He saw a lot of books on the shelf that didn't belong to him. His gaze was locked on the titles. "Best Ways to Handle Toxic People". "The Key to Overcoming Nasty People" "Foundations of Psychology" Nathan's lips curled slightly as a smirk played on his face.

The story between Chubs and Nate got pretty dragging but I can't complaint, since I did end up loving this novel more than I thought I would. Halfway through 1088 chapters, things got more interesting and the ending was pretty good. Thanks for making the stories worth reading.

I really like the book, i've been stuck on it since i've found it .. it's just that the chapters are too short, it's basically a money grab... irritating that you can't read for at least 2-5 mins without having to pay for a new chapter.

The Wrong Match That Got It Right

The Wrong Match That Got It Right

His throat was tight. He said: "She wouldn't do that. Sloane wouldn't—" She said: "You don't know what she would do. You never did. You spent three years thinking you knew her and you were wrong about the most basic things." Her voice didn't change. Still even. Still calm. "You were wrong about how she would react. You were wrong about how long she would wait for you to come back. And you were wrong about what she was capable of when someone gave her a better option."
