Belle Crown Novels & Stories

Having so many voices inside your head at once can be daunting, especially if you don’t know how to block them out. ‘Welcome to the pack, beautiful.’ ‘Thank you,’ She whispered into our mind-link. Once Anja was back with me, I turned and retrieved the crown of the Queen – one my mother wore once upon a time. The crown I wear is large, platinum, and engraved with wolves howling to the moon. Anja’s is smaller and encrusted with white and clear jewels, perfect for my mate. Goddess, it makes her lightly tanned skink glow! As I placed it upon Anja’s head, her eyes closed for a moment, allowing the crown’s power to fill her veins.

"Princess...Levara?" The woman standing before her was unmistakable. Long golden-brown hair, pale skin, crimson eyes and soft pink lips. The beautiful face that Elly had seen on television countless times, the beloved Princess of Avenor. Her princess. Levara. But something was terribly wrong, Levara's eyes were empty, there was no warmth in them, they looked almost lifeless. As if the woman standing before Elly had already died long before her body had ever stopped breathing. Elly swallowed.

the witch said. “And?” I asked, “Say what you have to say.” The three witches look at each other. Nerves visible in their porcelain faces. “A crown,” the witch said as she lowered her head. Frowning, I throw them a questioning look. What crown were they speaking of? “Have you heard about the Ruby Crown?” The witch asked. I shake my head. I had never heard of a Ruby Crown. I didn’t understand where they were going with this. Letting them know they could continue. I watch as they take a seat.

Belle's POV “Belle. Put on your crown!” I was unlucky enough to have a mother who was a show-off and an exaggerator. Deliberately ordering a diamond crown to force me to wear it on my wedding day. To make sure that the only daughter she had had managed to snag the last successor to the Davis family. My mom spent the money just to show off in front of her friends. “Wait. Aren't there too many guests?” In my hands, the guest list, which should have only numbered dozens of people, swelled to hundreds with the names of the first companies to send bouquets.

"We seek the Crown Bearer." Its voice sounded wrong. Not human. As though dozens of voices spoke in perfect unison from inside the helmet. Cassian stepped in front of Lyra. His sword rose immediately. "Then you're out of luck." The warrior ignored him. Its attention never left Lyra. "The Crown Bearer belongs to the Throne." The Bone Crown pulsed. Pain shot through Lyra's skull. A flood of unfamiliar images crashed into her mind. A vast black citadel. An endless army kneeling before a throne.

The black velvet inside framed something bright pink. A plastic crown. Gabby’s pink glitter crown. For a moment, no one spoke. “MY CROWN!” Gabby screamed so loudly the tiny hammer in my head went back to working overtime. She reached for it with both hands. “Easy,” I said. Kendra picked up the crown first and inspected it. “Oh.” “What?” I asked. She turned it toward the light. The crown was clean. No chocolate smudges from Al’s hands. No dust from the grounds at Villa Miravento. The underside, which had been slightly sticky yesterday because Gabby once tried to repair it with lip gloss, wasn’t sticky anymore either.

and one sticker that just said “WOW.” Rose stepped closer, holding it carefully. “Put it on.” Brielle’s eyes stung a little. “Right now?” “Right now,” Lily insisted. Emma whispered to Mason, “If she puts that on, it’s never coming off.” Mason whispered back, “It’s basically permanent.” Jaxon’s smile softened as he watched Brielle. “Do it,” he mouthed. Brielle took the crown with both hands and gently placed it on her head. The twins erupted like she’d just won a championship.

“I promise.” Promises were easy to make, but keeping them was another matter. ********* Just before sunset, the guards announced that the breeder had arrived. My heart sank. I stood beside Kael in the entrance hall as the heavy doors opened. A young woman stepped inside. She couldn’t have been more than twenty. Golden curls framed a delicate face, and her pale blue dress hung loosely over her slender figure. She looked around nervously before lowering her gaze. “So this is the Alpha’s breeder,” one of the elders murmured.

And as far as I can see they all look the same age. “What do you mean by that?!” Hamstell. Kenrick sighed. “The Crown Prince will need his Marionette once he grows up. And only the daughter of the Dukes and Duchesses is chosen to be his Marionette. He will need this child. So better to take good care of her…” “Right. It’s better to keep this child alive.” Said Parker. I stared at him and let out a wide cutie smile. “She’s cute…” The guy standing beside the door smirked. Gah. I think my face is heating up. I’m so happy! He took my charms so easily!

Violet bit down on her lower lip so hard that it nearly broke the skin, but she still tried to hold her ground. "It's just a cheap ornament," she said stiffly. "I already looked it up. The online price is about five bucks. I'll give you ten. That's more than enough." I let out a quiet laugh. "Are you sure you searched for the right thing?" I said. "Try this. Look up the news. 'Neel Corporation's Chairman Wins Bidding War for Rare Antique, Gives It to Daughter.'" Someone in the crowd gasped. "It's real! It's the same piece I found online earlier. It's worth three million dollars!"
