It was a truth whispered in hushed tones, for it carried both privilege and sacrifice. In the realm of the supernatural, the concept of a destined mate was deeply ingrained, an age-old belief that transcended time and species. Each supernatural being, whether it was a demon, vampire, werewolf, or other mystical creature, was believed to possess a singular, fated counterpart – the other half of their soul. This union was considered the most profound and sacred connection in their existence.

I couldn’t be more ecstatic for her, but now I’m dealing with a vampire step daddy wanna-be. Grabbing the oversized stuffed Corgi, I hugged it to my chest. “What am I gonna do Bob?” I whispered. Mom and Justin explained about Beloveds, in great detail that I really didn’t need to know. They were soul mates, as Justin put it. The Moon Goddess deemed their souls a perfect match and once they find each other, unbelievable things happen. Something about chemicals in their body, the fire touches the insane amount of sexual attraction. It sounded like a bunch of crap to get in my mom’s pants.

And as they held each other close in the darkness, their love a beacon of hope amid chaos, Marvis and Jace knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, they would face them together, bound by the unbreakable bond of their fated love. --- As the night wore on, Marvis and Jace found themselves lost in each other's embrace, their love a balm for the wounds inflicted by the darkness that threatened to consume them. With their daughter sleeping peacefully between them, they clung to one another, drawing strength from the warmth of their shared connection.

If it weren’t for the gorgeous gown he gifted me and the pretty hairstyle the maids put me in, I would’ve felt like a sack of potatoes next to him. “Now arriving, Alpha King, Caspian Eros and Luna Queen, Aurora Eros. All rise and greet the moon and star of our land.” I felt my nerves jolt as all eyes turned toward us as we walked down the steps. I tried to focus more on my footing than the many eyes that peered at me and just hoped I made it to the end without falling.

"Thankyou my child" she says and kisses her forhead as they try to fiqure out how to now deal with the death of their leader, father and husband now gone forever.

"I'll teach you. I'll show you. I'll love you. Again. In this reality. In this version. In this iteration. Forever." The others gather. Damon. Zephyr. Erebus. Luna. All wanting to know. All wanting to remember. All wanting to understand why they feel bonded to a stranger. "We have time." I tell them. "Infinite time. To rebuild. To remember. To love again. In this reality. And in infinite others. All of us. All versions. All iterations. Learning to love across infinity. Learning to be family across separation. Learning to win by being scattered instead of unified."

Dinner with the family was interesting to say the least; Damien had meant to surprise the family and brought his girlfriend, Veronica, for Friday dinner. They had started to get serious and well let’s just say if after an explosive family dinner she didn’t run for the hills then she could be the one.

... Even if it's in a sea of blood, I will find you still. .. "Mate" She found her mate. Aria was speechless. Mate. She tasted the word in her mouth again. It sounded foreign. She didn't believe in mates. In fact she didn't believe in the moon goddess. She felt that all the unnecessary attention werewolves focus on mates is completely unnecessary. She never thought she would find her mate again. At least not in this life.

They faced this final chapter of their journey with grace and acceptance, knowing that their love would endure beyond the bounds of mortality. In Sarah's final moments, surrounded by the warmth of their shared memories and the love of family and friends, she whispered to Thomas, "Our love has been a symphony, Thomas—a melody that will continue to play long after we are gone. Promise me that you will carry our love in your heart and share it with the world."

“Well I’m looking at my beloved and smiling. Did it do something wrong?” The whole class went deadly silent. “B-beloved?.. It’s similar to a mate, right? Sorry if I sound ignorant.. I’m not that familiar with vampire mating systems,” “It’s okay, Mister Olson. Beloved is our one true love. They are our soul mates. And Rue here is mine,”’ he happily held her hand. Rue went along with him. “yes and he is my mate,” Loud gasps were heard all around the class. Some wolves even banged on the table, expressing their displeasure.
