What if We Drown

What if We Drown

They had but seconds to react, but they were too late. "Daddy!" She sobbed as the wood beneath her collapsed, the ocean reaching for her. "NO!" The boat exploded with light, and Ashlyn fell.

Dead Weight

Dead Weight

A whiteboard divided into WEATHER, MOVEMENT, SUPPLIES, CONTACTS, THREATS. Under CONTACTS, she writes: Priya — apartment, mother with her. Carol — home, vehicle, competent. Pete — unknown, loud, useful. Hannah — listening. Denise — probably terrifying someone into washing their hands. Then she adds: Dex — do not contact. She caps the marker hard enough to make the lid complain. Emotional truth: she wonders if he is alive. Deflection: wonderful, abandonment trauma with push notifications. Sharper truth: alive or dead, he is no longer hers to manage.

Drowning My Ex-Champion

Drowning My Ex-Champion

I gave up the chance to take over my family's business and spent ten whole years acting as a sports agent for my swimmer boyfriend, Nate. I stayed by his side from his early days to his rise to fame. He promised he would propose to me the day he won the world championship gold. The night of his victory dinner, I eagerly put on a wedding dress. I even invited all our close friends and family to the venue so they could witness the moment together. But as he stood under the spotlight, he looked right past me and his gaze landed on his younger teammate, Lexi, who was smiling brightly and clapping for him nearby. A reporter pushed through the crowd with a microphone and asked on the spot if h

monologued Albern. Meanwhile, Harnum was cleaning the swimming pool, his head was starting to feel dizzy again and his eyes were starting to light up. Harnum's position, standing on the edge of the swimming pool, caused his body, which lost its balance, to fall and go straight into the swimming pool. Harnum, who was unconscious, immediately drowned, because Harnum fell face down, and finally his body sank to the bottom of the swimming pool. Meanwhile, Albern, who had finished his bathing ritual, immediately went back out. Albern looked towards the swimming pool, his eyes circled around the swimming pool, but he did not find Harnum's figure. Albern wondered, where did Harnun go?

My toyboy is Alpha King

My toyboy is Alpha King

Despite his efforts to help me and support me, I still felt a sense of caution around him. I decided to change the subject and asked Dylan if he could help me find Scorpion. "Umm. About Scorpion... Can you help me find him?" I repeated, trying to process the information. I had been thinking about him a lot lately, and I wanted to confront him about his past actions. Dylan nodded, his expression serious. "Yes, he drowned in the river two days after the incident. The police investigation showed that he had been drinking and lost his balance, falling into the river."

Three Days of Drowning in the Sea

Three Days of Drowning in the Sea

My soul drifted up from a cage at the bottom of the ocean, somehow ending up near Isaac Thornton. Liam Donovan, his assistant, told Isaac, "Mr. Thornton, Mrs. Thornton's been in the ocean for a day and a night. The water's freezing; she might not make it." Isaac replied, "She's only been in the ocean for a day and a night, but my Mandy's gone forever." Liam tried again, "But the dead can't be brought back. If something happens to Mrs. Thornton..." Isaac threw a stack of papers at him.

Coming Out of the Deep

Coming Out of the Deep

Dunn’s expression turned more puzzled, and he lowered his voice even more. “That’s the strange part,” he admitted. “Medically, he shouldn’t have survived what happened to him. He was dragged under for too long. Normally, the lungs would flood, resulting in irreversible damage. However, in his case, we extracted far less water than we would have expected for someone who had been submerged for so long. His lungs aren’t as damaged. It's almost as if something stopped the water from fully entering his lungs."

Dear, Ex Husband. You Cheated!

Dear, Ex Husband. You Cheated!

“Mr. Dwayne is…dead?” “That's not possible!” Another one exclaimed, shaking his head in disbelief. “He's only in his thirties, how can he be dead —just like that?” Aunt Elsie took a deep breath. “I know this is hard to believe.” She said, her voice steady. “But it's true. Mr. Dwayne died in an accident whilst taking his bath last Tuesday's morning; he slipped and broke his head, but it was too late before Ms. Fellers could arrive at the scene.”

Sheila
This book really needs to be edited. People’s name change half way through the book. Plus it changes from having a son and daughter to just having a son. Not sure if the daughter reappears as I have not finished the book due to the confusion with name changes

The story about Alex, Lisa&Andy is interesting. But author, please don't hang your readers just like that. It's so unprofessional to insert other topic/different story just because you can't finish the first one. Be a responsible author.

Buried with No Remains

Buried with No Remains

"I don't want to see you. Get out!" I listened to him and left. I had thought that things had died down when one day, she suddenly drowned in the pool. I stood at the edge, watching her sink and rise again. I ran to grab her, but she yanked my hand and dragged me toward the water. At that moment, Simon returned. From his angle, it looked like I was pressing her under. He stormed over, shoved me aside, then bound me and threw me into the bathtub. It was meant to be both a punishment and a chance for me to repent—but what had I actually done wrong?

Drowned by Betrayal

Drowned by Betrayal

I was afraid of water. But my best friend, Elara Vance, and my boyfriend, Everett Langley, were both competitive swimmers. Whenever they got together, they never ran out of things to talk about. I could never get a word in. The day Everett won the state swimming championship, I forced myself to attend the pool party to celebrate his victory, even though I was terrified of the water. But Elara suddenly grabbed my ankle and dragged me toward the deep end. "Tessa, you've been afraid of water for years. Today, I'm going to help you get over it." Everett let out a helpless laugh. "She's been afraid of water since she was a kid. Go easy on her." I thrashed desperately, trying to grab the side
