As they walked towards the car, Ben dropped his gaze to his phone when he heard it ring. He answered the call despite seeing the call was from an unknown number, he waited for the caller to speak first and the first sentence from the other end of the call caused a flicker in his facial expression.

Ben observed my actions as I paced back and forth guarding the bed and eyeing each of them growling if anyone so much as moved. “Yup, he’s rabid,” Baine announced.
