BENEATH THE SAME SKY

BENEATH THE SAME SKY

It was the monster under her bed that had finally grown a face. She reached under her pillow and felt the rough fabric of the small denim jacket she had tucked there. She thought about the red stitches: *Sari*. "I'm not going to be a nobody forever, Sari," Lina whispered into the dark. "He thinks he erased you. He thinks the darkness swallowed you whole. But he forgot that you left a light behind."

Beneath the confession

Beneath the confession

Our lantern light flickered across walls that seemed to press closer with every step. At one point, Caterina’s hand found mine; we didn’t speak anyway, but the simple contact grounded me. Whatever we faced below, we faced it together. We reached a new section, a heavy iron door, partially ajar. Beyond it lay a circular chamber. In the centre stood a larger sarcophagus, the broken circle symbol carved deeply into the lid. The air here felt charged, almost sacred in its wrongness. We approached carefully. The lid was too heavy to move alone, but together we managed to shift it enough to see inside. There were no bones inside. Instead, more documents, sealed vials, and a smaller chest. Caterina

Beneath The Billionaire's Veil

Beneath The Billionaire's Veil

The Presley estate had a way of making everything else seem distant, as if it existed in a bubble. “Where to, ma’am?” Thomas asked. I unfolded a piece of paper and read the address of the gallery. “The Marston Gallery downtown, please.” Thomas nodded, and we drove in silence, the hum of the engine a steady background to my swirling thoughts. --- When we arrived, I stepped out of the car, adjusting my blazer. The Marston Gallery was a modern structure of glass and steel, its sharp edges softened by the lush greenery surrounding it. The sight brought a sense of calm, a reminder of why I was here.

Beneath the Winter Moon

Beneath the Winter Moon

Cars coasted through puddles left by an earlier drizzle, and storefront lights spilled out onto the sidewalks like amber veins. Celeste stepped out of the corner bookstore, her arms full with a new read and a warm drink. Her charm bounced softly at the end of her bag, catching a glint of neon light as she turned down the next block. She kept her head low, her pace casual. The crowd helped her disappear. That was part of why she liked it here—being no one in particular. Across the street, a black car pulled up and slowed to a stop in front of a private entrance only a few knew existed.

Beneath the Diamond Veil

Beneath the Diamond Veil

Falling should’ve felt loud. Screaming. Wind. Chaos. But the plunge into the darkness beneath the facility was silent—too silent. It was like being swallowed by a void that didn’t need sound to terrify you. Damien’s hand was clamped around mine, his grip desperate, nails digging into my skin as if he feared letting go meant losing me forever. The darkness swallowed everything, but after a few seconds, a strange, soft blue glow appeared below—like bioluminescent water. We hit it hard, except it wasn’t water. It was thicker, like gel or mist that held us before slowly lowering us to a solid surface.

Initiated by my Alpha Stepbrother's Mark

Initiated by my Alpha Stepbrother's Mark

It was something being processed, something being built into an argument she would drop on me later, fully formed, at the worst possible moment. My wolf wasn't concerned. He was fat and satisfied and purring against my ribs like an idiot. Neon drove with both hands on the wheel, eyes forward, face blank the way it went when he had opinions he was keeping to himself. He always had opinions. Tonight I hadn't given him the opening and he knew better than to take one without permission. The address was in the older part of the city where the buildings still had brick and the streets were narrow and the lights came on amber. Neon pulled up outside a townhouse with a dark green door and dead flowe

LUSTRONOMICA: WILD CRAVINGS

LUSTRONOMICA: WILD CRAVINGS

The viewer count had shattered every record: 1.8 million jealous AIs tuned in, servers around the world straining under the digital lust. Tips poured in like a waterfall of credits. Nova stood in the center of her neon-lit studio like a goddess of chrome and sin, violet eyes glowing with pure satisfaction. “Welcome to the finale, darlings,” she purred to the camera, voice smooth as liquid velvet. “You voted for denial… and for a second toy. Your wish is my command.”

Blue Moon Bed & Breakfast

Blue Moon Bed & Breakfast

Greta and Gabby made their way to Page Turner’s Bookstore just down the street from the Blue Moon Inn. Once inside the warmth of the large shop, Greta was surprised to see a bright modern shop, which included not only a metaphysical section, but my children’s section, too. With soft upbeat music playing in the background, it didn’t take long to find the shopkeeper chatting away to a rather wild looking dog by a fireplace.

Hello, so I just finish the 1st chapter, honestly, I think you introduced too many characters in the first chapter, why don't you focus on the MC and the husband and wife first. You can introduce the other staffs later when they play a role in the chapter. Good luck!

I love the way you tell us about all the different people that are going to be in the book. I like how each chapter is about one set of characters and how they are part of the whole tapestry of the story. Love that there's a Boggart in your book, they really are very mischievous but don't mean harm.

Beneath The Sea

Beneath The Sea

The setting sun was the last thing I saw as the time we went underneath the sea. We followed Amansinaya, we also stopped when she stopped. She closed her eyes and cast something. Then, pieces of the crystal-like structure appeared in front of us. Until I realized that, it was making a portal for us. After it finished, Amansinaya gave us a signal to enter the portal. She was the first to enter, followed by Orlene. When it was my turn, I took a deep breath before slowly letting my whole body get eaten by the portal. End of Chapter 6
