Bia asked the boy what a bible was and the boy said it was a book where the world of god was written. Then Bia asked back what the world of god was, and the boy spent a long time thinking about it. I'm not as good at explaining as I thought I was. "Oh not at all, the bible to me is more of a guide to this thing we call life. The stories in there are more of motivational stories, something that one can relate to. All the stories there just show you that no matter what you're going through, God can pull you out of it, even if you're the one who got yourself into it." "So is it wrong that I've never believed in him my entire life?"

The people they once were lost in the wake of battle, the sky coated in the blood and ashes of the fallen. Elika glanced down at the ancient book in her hands; it was the only recorded history of the days before the war. The real truth of how this life came to pass, a past that Elika longed for with all her heart. Maybe it was foolish of her to dream of such a life, of peace, but it was all she had ever wished for. A time when she could live with the knowledge that her people are safe and happy, when she no longer had to look over her shoulder in fear that when she turned 16 her father would call her to fight in the senseless war. Killing and destroying the citizens of hell along with her br

Much like he'd looked as he had stood on Carrie's porch watching the clouds slowly travel across the sky while calmly sipping his coffee despite the chaos going on around him. Ben returned carrying a load of books in his arms. He heaved the heavy books onto the table before me. I looked down and was surprised at what I saw there. I didn’t know what I had expected. With all that had happened, I had envisioned fantasies of witchcraft, vampirism, mutants, and numerous other explanations involving mythological figures but this I hadn’t anticipated. At the very top of the considerable pile of books lay the King James Bible. “Just the tip of the iceberg, baby.” Richard said as he looked at me and

Sophia replied "I wish things were different" "Me too but that's how the cookie dough rolls" "So,the bible isn't a religion book?" Jennifer asked "No,it's our history book that tells us who we are,who the others that put our people into slavery are, what happened before slavery, what made slavery happened, what happens after slavery and all that other stuff that I still need to study on" Sophia replied "So,what's the history books that they put in the schools?" I giggled walking towards the kitchen, and Thomas strode behind me, “What are you doing?” He asked as I sat by the counter, picking up the Bible, “I am reading the Bible, want to join?” “No, thank you,” he scoffed pacing back and forth, observing the kitchen area, “Why? You don't read?” “No, authors are prevaricators,” he grumbled. “And why do you say that?” “Well, for one, you can't trust someone who writes assumptions for a living, they will lie to survive,” he mumbled, touching the knives edged tips.

Besides, she was almost done with the atonement child when I walked in earlier. Her current book was titled, a vessel of honor. Written by a renowned christian writer, Rebecca Brown. A devoted christian who was willing to go through hell for the kingdom's sake. Her story had never ceased to amaze me, as not everyone who calls himself a christian is willing to go through that much for the kingdom. Most prefer pleasure to actually doing the things of the kingdom and it's really saddening.

It was wider and more genuine, but far more deadly. "A good fiction," Kaine said warmly. "Truly. The fallen angel with a desire for redemption in truth. That is a powerful Biblically based image," Kaine said. He took a nonchalant striding movement to one side, pacing slowly around the pedestal in a complete circle. "But it contains one irrevocable fault," Kaine added.
