Rewrite Our Story: Best Friend's Brother Second Chance

Rewrite Our Story: Best Friend's Brother Second Chance

Nineteen year old me didn’t know the heartbreak the man on the other side of the camera would cause me. Little did I know that heartbreak would change my life in many ways. It shaped who I am today, but it also shaped my career. Heartbroken and devastated, I wrote a book heavily inspired by Cade and me. It was cathartic to funnel all of my feelings into a love story that I could actually control. I never could’ve expected thousands and thousands of people to read it around the world.

Extreme Love

Extreme Love

Heartbreak is always very painful because before we had given our whole heart to someone precious. Whether it ends in disappointment, heartache or indeed love that is left but broken by circumstances. No matter how we are hurt, the longing will still come to fill our minds. The irony is that when we are alone, all we can remember are the wonderful memories that make us miss that person indeed more and torment us with the longing we have.

Heartbreak

Heartbreak

Kenan shook his head and then began to speak, "I didn't even come to her office and just told my assistant to get Andien to come to my office." "Andien is an ordinary employee and it makes no sense for you to give her the job directly. You're a seasoned businessman who should know what's reasonable or not," Mark said. Every sentence Mark said made Kenan even more frustrated. "What should I do?" "Right now you're approaching Andien out of revenge. Why don't you use your heart to attract Andien?" Mark suggested. "Heart?" Kenan laughed loudly. He might be able to use his heart for someone he loved, but until now he had never had anyone worth giving his heart to. Even making love with the woman

Heartbroken by his Rejection

Heartbroken by his Rejection

At this point, I wish I had amnesia and didn't recall anything as I woke up because my head was seriously banging with migraine, my heart was shattered and my eyes were gushing freely with tears. I still can't believe I had loved this man with all my heart yet all I got to return was disdain. I had lived my life to please him and yet all my efforts went unappreciated. “Why didn't you show me the SIGNS?? This man was about to betray me,yet how come did I not see it's coming?’’ I scolded my inner man, sobbing profusely. “Girl, are you talking about SIGNS??, what SIGN exactly are you talking about?...the ones you did not see when he never agreed to sleep with you on the same bed even after 5 ye

Healing A Broken Heart

Healing A Broken Heart

he uttered in an extremely gentle voice, just like he would when we first got together. Sorrow filled my heart. I was feeling sorrowful over the humiliation I endured in the private room that day. I was sorrowful over the times I was disrespected, and over how I wasn't able to win him over even after loving him for nine years. I was sorrowful over the fact that I heard him threaten to send a video of me to my newlywed husband. Yet, I felt far less of a burden than when my sincere feelings were completely neglected. The heavens might not put the person who failed to appreciate someone else's sincerity through physical punishment, but they would make him lose his partner forever.

Billionaires And Beaches: The Kisses Series

Billionaires And Beaches: The Kisses Series

They say it’s better to have loved and lost than never to have loved I stopped writing and glared at the screen. I highlighted the last sentence and hit delete as if the force of my click would hurt the words as they left the page. Love. It was like a bad word, something I had been conditioned not to say. And Gabe deserved no exception, even if it would appease an old stupid cliché about breakups. After a few moments of contemplation I picked up again where I left off. Time is a weird thing. It has the ability to pass in the blink of an eye, or as a small flame that grows slowly in size until finally it has engulfed everything in its path. I guess heartbreaks are like small fires in your che

The Day She Stopped Waiting

The Day She Stopped Waiting

She used to love rainy nights before marrying Adrian. Now they only reminded her how cold beautiful things could feel. “You barely touched your food,” she said quietly after a while. “I ate earlier.” The answer landed gently, but it still hurt. She had spent all afternoon preparing for a dinner he never planned to share. Again. A strange thing about heartbreak, Elena thought, was that it rarely arrived dramatically. People imagined shattered glasses and screaming arguments. But real heartbreak was quieter than that. It was remembering somebody’s favorite wine while they forgot you existed in the same room.

10 chapters in and I hope it’s second chance book. I love a good “leaving my shitty husband for a better man” plot but sometimes I love a good “I need to get my wife back” plot as well. Sometimes I want to read about how a relationship was pulled back from the brink and I feel this is goi to be it.

The Breaking Point of Love

The Breaking Point of Love

Janet knew all too well how attractive Wynn could be. Over the years, she had seen countless men fall for her, completely infatuated. Even her own high school crush had only dated her to get closer to Wynn. But the thing was, Wynn truly was excellent—she had real charm. To have the man she loved taken away by someone so outstanding, and to be powerless to take him back, especially with everything between Lilian and Isabelle on top of it, Celeste's pain must have been unimaginable.

From Postpartum to Heartache

From Postpartum to Heartache

" I thought I had prepared myself to face these emotions. But as I spoke, the tears still betrayed me and fell uncontrollably. "Daryl, all that talk about loving me—it wasn't love. You're just unwilling to let go of me because of my status now. You don't love me—you only love yourself." The pain in my chest was unbearable. My voice cracked, and a hollow rasp echoed through my words. The emotional strain felt like a constant, gnawing ache. When I thought of the love I had wasted on him, my heart felt like it was being torn apart. Daryl finally looked up and said hoarsely, "Natalie, I'm so sorry. Madison was just a mistake—a naive folly from my youth. I know now who I really love. Please, give

MIT After Heartbreak

MIT After Heartbreak

The crowd erupted into cheers, and the two leaned in for another kiss, oblivious to the world around them. I cried until my eyes burned and my tears ran dry. Ava’s voice cut through my misery. "Cynthia, I know this hurts. I’m only showing you this to snap you out of it. Stop following Ethan around. He’s not worth your love. You deserve a life of your own." My throat felt raw, my voice nothing more than a whisper. "I know." I had been so foolish, letting myself be blinded by Ethan’s fake affection for so many years, falling in love with someone who never truly cared about me.
