The Pack's Triquetra

The Pack's Triquetra

“In addition to the caretakers, she has five of her children with her. The others I had to destroy as they would never be safe. The five that she has will never be able to blend in with humans and will never have enough self-control to be trusted around them, however Sigrid has taken responsibility for them, and ensures that they disturb Havermouth as little as possible. Once I was certain that she had them and herself under control, and once I had found vampire caretakers willing to oversee the safe house, I left Havermouth, and I only return in order to ensure that all continues smoothly there and with Zeus when necessary.” “The dead risen, you said,” Rhett took a swig of the flask. “Like

I've always wished to have the ability to read my favorite book for the first time again. What Everleigh has accomplished here is exactly that. They say there are two sides to every story, but in this case, there are multiple, and it will turn your world on its head.

This one helped me see where the Triquetra were coming from with how they were treating her. I still don't condone their actions, but they're doing better and learning from one's mistakes is important. I can't wait for the next one! I'm checking everyday for it

Sacrificed to Zombies, I Take Back the World

Sacrificed to Zombies, I Take Back the World

" Lucas roared while pointing a finger at me, his eyes filled with nothing but absolute disgust. Jeffrey lifted a foot and kicked my knee forcefully, forcing me to fall before Alison. "Juliet, I've warned you not to play games. If you lay another finger on Alison, I will end you and feed you to the zombies immediately." I could still remember the very first time I was shoved into a swarm of zombies three months ago. Alison said she needed white roses for her late mother's grave. Specifically, she wanted those from the zombie-infested zone. I gave my all in picking them and bringing them back for her, only for her to throw them into the trash right away, claiming that they stank of zombies an

Start Over in Zombie Apocalypse

Start Over in Zombie Apocalypse

I'd never love a woman with no brains like you! He pulled up the ladder entirely and disappeared into the vent. The zombies were getting closer now. I could hear their roars even from where I stood. I shot down a couple that got too close. Through the corner of my eye, I saw Yvonne stood petrified, and she was shaking all over. A zombie lunged at her. I thought it would tear her apart, but Yvonne rolled out of the way, then she snapped up a metal pipe and smashed it down on the zombie.

Resurrected (Book #9 in the Vampire Journals)

Resurrected (Book #9 in the Vampire Journals)

Caitlin dove into the book, scanning through, turning the pages as fast as she could, looking for any mention of vampires, of how to heal or cure one, how to bring one back to normal life. As she began to read, she suddenly slowed down. She went back and read it again. Then again. Her heart started beating with hope. She could tell right away that this book was very different than the others. This, of all the books, felt the most real to her, the most scholarly, the most impartial. It wasn’t filled with hyperbole and myth and wild stories told by grandmothers. This one was written, paradoxically, by a bishop, in the 16th century. Also a doctor, he had seen dozens of inexplicable cases of cor

The Pack's Rebels

The Pack's Rebels

“Our bunker suddenly has a f-king lot of appeal. We could leave the world to implode and run away home. Spend the apocalypse f-king…” “There might not be a world left if we do that,” Sigrid pointed out using Greg’s shoulders to balance as she rose to her feet and then offering him her hand and lifting him to his feet. “Whilst the Van Helsings and the werewolves fight over who should live and who should die, this zombie virus could spread and spread and spread. By the time we decide to leave the bunker and check on the world, there might be only zombies left, and if that woman from the shop is any example to go by, zombie is not a food source that I find appetizing.”

Life After (Post apocalyptic book)

Life After (Post apocalyptic book)

And they couldn’t know why some people got sick while the others didn’t. But they said, there was something about it that changed the rational part of your mind and highlighted your instinct. It turned them all into mindless animals who try to satisfy their primal urges only. Supernatural zombies were the biggest threat, though. If you met an undead wolf, just run, don’t try to fight it. If you met a dragon, you might just kill yourself and be done with it. You won’t survive this encounter. One of the wolves charged at me and I sidestepped it, a second tried to bite my thigh and it almost succeeded.

ZUBA: Tragedies of a Vampire Princess

ZUBA: Tragedies of a Vampire Princess

Though they lived in the world of their own, their lives were not complete on their own. They invaded others for their stay and livelihood. Those that lived near them were so surprised about all this; how fear could be associated with beautiful beings, at least from the outside. They looked innocent and beautiful, like angels, yet made others around them to live in fear. The subjects of Borney loved one another. But they expressed their love for others, especially the opposite sex, in a different way. Their ways were different because they were an island of vampires. To their neighbours, expressing love through bites by sharp fangs looked rather weird and cruel.

Demon's Evolution

Demon's Evolution

The sound of charging zombies smashed into everyone's eardrums, causing them to shiver in fear. "We're going to die. We're going to die!" A student yelled as he attempted to flee his position. "You'll die if you run, but I won't stop you." The sound of a frigid voice resonated in the air. Rose assumed command. "Because zombies lack a brain and an eye, they can only detect movement and the smell of blood. The more you move, the more they will pursue you." Hearing that the student who attempted to flee bowed his head in shame.

Apocalypse With a Cheat Sheet

Apocalypse With a Cheat Sheet

Then I got into a lackluster department, and then passed some kind of government exam. Yanlong barely retrieved the bead when she heard zombies roar. There are quite a few. What the heck? In every zombie novel she read, university boys are very over eager to kill zombies and escape their fate. Why are her university mates so cautious? She crawled away from the bathroom extremely fast. A fireball burst through one of the false ceiling boards for a moment. Yanlong held the first available nuclei and absorbed it. It's water nuclei, with talent leaning towards moving water.

“Probably. Still, I’m sure that some people have read Twilight, and have seen some werewolf movies. I’m almost positive Blood and Chocolate was inspired by reality.” Rina just stood there and blinked at me. “Since when do you watch horror movies?” I shrugged, and sat at one of the benches by the fire pit. “I don’t. I prefer romance movies. Blood and Chocolate just happens to be an overlap, and isn’t scary. Warm Bodies was scarier.” Kimi shuddered. “Those things that zombies turn into when they’ve really lost their humanity are frightening.” “At least it had a better ending than the material that inspired it,” I grinned.
