My Best Friend’s Boyfriend

My Best Friend’s Boyfriend

"Nice to meet you," Collen quickly took my hands and shook them. My hands fell limp to my side. "Is everything okay?" Hannah asked, her green eyes searching mine. "Yeah, just that um, I was about to go to bed when you came," I lied through my teeth. My heart was beating not just within my chest but I could hear it in head. This was the first time I had lied to my best friend in all our twelve years of being friends. "Oh, I was hoping you could stay up with us to watch a movie."

Shattered Vows

Shattered Vows

my best friend. Jenna and I walk in silence most of the way, jackets zipped up, the air salty as we head toward the beach near Diagonal Mar. The sand is cool beneath our shoes; the waves roll in steady rhythm beneath a quiet, overcast sky. There’s something about the water at night that makes everything else feel manageable. Maybe if we just sit long enough, the answers will come. I drop onto the sand first, curling my legs underneath me and hugging my arms close. Jenna settles beside me, pulling her hoodie tighter around her body. We sit like that for a few minutes, listening to the waves, to the way the city hushes behind us.

My Best friend's Brother

My Best friend's Brother

"And then we're going shopping. And then we're going to pretend Vincent doesn't exist." "I can't just pretend he doesn't exist." "You can try." She shoved me into her car. "I'm your best friend. It's my job to make you forget your problems." I didn't argue. We went to a café downtown. Quiet. Cozy. The kind of place where nobody knew my name. Sloane ordered for both of us. Two lattes. Two pastries. She knew what I liked without asking. "Okay," she said. "Talk to me. How are you really doing?"

Crash Into Me

Crash Into Me

She could sit by the beach and stare at the ocean, listening to the waves and the sound of seagulls while the winds blew her hair as she sat upon the sandy beach until the sun would go down all the way. There's a feeling of serenity, a private silence in the midst of people enjoying the same thing as she does. The sense of peace inside her when she does this is the one thing that tied her to this beautiful island she calls home. She will never leave this place, it would be like leaving herself, and she would never do that again. Andrea was slowly walking toward her with champagne in one hand and two glasses in the other. "I knew you'd be here," she startled her. Sandy turned to look at her b

LOVE AND LUST

LOVE AND LUST

"And miss the chance to annoy Billy?" Billy folded her arms. "Please leave." Max laughed as George grabbed his bag. "See you later." "Have fun," Billy replied. "I will." --- Less than an hour later... The four friends stood on the sandy shore. The waves rolled gently onto the beach while children ran around building sandcastles nearby. The salty breeze carried the cries of seagulls overhead. Max stretched his arms. "This..." "...is exactly what I needed." Lee nodded. "It feels good getting out of the neighborhood for a while."

A Midwestern Cinderella

A Midwestern Cinderella

I replied, buying myself some time to think about my answer. “This is kind of a beach,” Freddie supplied, motioning his head toward the lake outside. “Then beach,” I told him. “If lakes count, then I choose the beach.” “I change my answer to the beach then,” Freddie said. “I want to be wherever you are.” He smiled at me, pulling me closer to him. His citrus scent was so comforting and soft. I sighed with contentment, resting my head on his shoulder. My heart fluttered with quiet delight that he wanted to be with me.

I am so enjoying this book and the inclusion of the diversity of different types of love. It does need some proofreading and sometimes feels as if it is being written in texting form but I am intelligent enough to figure out how to read it correctly. I love the strength of Tony. Glad this has finally been finished. There is one thing I do not understand, however. Aside from being labeled as Alphas and Omegas, thos book has nothing to do with werewolves and as such should not have been labeled as it being so.

My Best Friend's Brother

My Best Friend's Brother

He’d also helped with the planning and all. It wasn’t something I’d admit to him, but the man was my best friend — something he probably didn’t even know. I’d rather we keep it that way. I led Astrid to the end of the rink, taking off her shoes before letting her go to her mum and sister and yeah, Joan. Aaron clasped me on the shoulder as the women gushed over the ring. “Congratulations, man. You did well,” he said, and I stared at him. “Thank you,” I grinned, and he dropped his hand and tucked it into his pocket.

You are the sole reason I have kept this app. I have downloaded too many of these type apps. It's embarrassing to think what I was willing to consider acceptable writing and or stories before yours. Like a good binge watch, I gobbled up 2 stories in 2 days. Greedily awaiting more, much more. P.S. Ty

I enjoyed the back story, and it didn't go on and on just to have filler to make it longer. I also like when it shows both sides thought process so as the reader you aren't misunderstanding actions being taken.

Thirst For My Billionaire Uncle

Thirst For My Billionaire Uncle

As we ride the waves, a sense of freedom and joy washes over us, our laughter mingling with the sound of the surf. After our friendly competition, we collapse on the sandy beach, breathless and grinning. Warren claps me on the back, a look of camaraderie in his eyes. "Not bad, Carlos. You've still got some tricks up your sleeve." I chuckle, feeling the warmth of friendship and shared experiences enveloping us.

REJECTED BILLIONAIRE'S HEIRESS

REJECTED BILLIONAIRE'S HEIRESS

SARAH'S POV: My friend and I were still enjoying ourselves on the same beach. We were having such a great time that we decided to attend a party. As soon as we got there, the sound of music filled the air and Brenda immediately rushed to the dance floor, eagerly joining the dancing crowd. I stood there alone for a moment, taking in the scene, when suddenly I heard a familiar voice calling out my name and turning around. I was pleasantly surprised to see Paul, who happens to be Mark's cousin, approaching me with a warm smile.
