"No offense but you don't hold much weight in that department." "My friend Cole Michael told me once that when you get into deep shit with someone and you team up to make it out, chances are you become best friends for life. You are officially on my list of best friends for life and I promise to always have your back. If they fire you, I'll make them regret the day I was born." "Can you make that a poem so that I can frame it?" She laughed. "Better, let's make a contract. I'll sign it." I assured her.

We'll be able to survive the year pretending to be a happy married couple when it's only for a short amount of time—we've known each other for too long, we don't have to worry about being uncomfortable or about falling for one another. For twenty years, we've been friends for twenty years . . . I'm confident that we will never forget the main purpose of the contract. Besides, helping my best friend is worth it. He has been the one to help me before ever since we were in middle school, might as well return the favour. ''It might work,'' I mutter.

“Honestly, so are you.” Isioma rolled her dolly eyes, smiling sheepishly. “Totally not true. But hey, um, now that we've made things clear to each other, do you still want me as your friend, Jordan?” To Isioma's wildest surprise, Jordan wrapped her in his arms and whispered calmly in her ear, saying, “Yes, of course. You're the best friend anyone could ever ask for, Isioma. I'm pretty sure our friendship will blossom greatly. Forever and always!”

By someone I can’t have. I shake my head sharply, snapping out of my reverie. “Get a hold of yourself, Ryan,” I scold sternly as I stand, slinging my bag over my shoulder. “It’s never going to happen again. You, of all people, know that it’s an arrangement.” A contract with an expiry date. We both agreed that we were going to call things off the moment our parents stopped bothering us to get married or take over their companies. It could be a month from now or a year, but the important thing was that it had a timeline.

I whirled back while smirking at my mother in law, who was peeping at me desperately and then stepped ahead. She is vicious, she can never improve and will never come out of her vicious acts. I held Arnav's hand and headed ahead. I reminded Arnav, "Don't you want to get signed the papers from your Mom?" "Ohh yes, give me a file," He asked for a file and handed the yellow file. My mother in law is also a share Holder in the Shark construction. So before we could proceed further, we have to take her signature. We have decided that the construct, will be done by Shark construction only. So, it's necessary to tale her permission.

“Right. So, contract for your arguing.” “You met Joshua, right?” he nodded and she smiled. “He’s Israel’s best friend and my godfather. When we went to the club to do our contract, Joshua oversaw it. There’s no legal binding to it, just in case you're wondering. Part of it requires we list out what we want, what we will not do and what we will compromise on.” “Like, everything?” “Mainly sex.” “Oh hell.” He muttered laying his head on the back of the couch and looked at the ceiling.

She brewed a light mixture for herself while Cillian flipped through the contract, eyes scanning the rules she came up with. Rule Number One: The Contract shall not go beyond three months. Rule Number Two: Both parties agree to not involve themselves in the personal lives of the other party. Rule Number Three: No Physical contact whatsoever. The list went on. Each and every single rule was thought out with meticulous care, to avoid any loopholes and make sure that the person on the other side of the line wouldn't be able to defraud her. The more Cillian read, the more his expression darkened. By the time he was finished reading the contract, Bellatrix had finished making her coffee.

he said pointedly before dropping the wards. "That is acceptable," Allen said as he clicked his fingers, producing a piece of paper and setting the agreement out in a binding magical contract with a wave of his hand. "I'm sure you won't mind signing this as we all will. It is a simple contract stating that each side will refrain from pursuing this matter any further" he said, producing a pen when Sebestian agreed. He signed his name to the piece of paper before carrying it around to Sebestian, unable to stop himself from inhaling a lungful of his mates scent when he leant over him to place the piece of paper on the table, he smelt good!

I clarified his suspicions. "Well, I guess that woman can help you heal. You would not change overnight if she was not something else, Fabian." He commented, pushing his luck. I sighed lightly thinking about what he said, but that woman had just parted with her long-time boyfriend. It's not easy to ask her out. "What if you both sign a contract to help each other at the same time, to get even with the people who caused your pain." He suggested out of the blue. "Can we do that?" I asked, doubtfully of him.
