The Best Friend Contract Pdf Novels & Stories

"Yes, we're already there, Luke. But we're not kids anymore. We have our own life. You have a girlfriend, Charles is wooing me. There's nothing to lose if we avoid each other, right? Please, Luke. So— he cut off the rest of what she had to say. "Please Athalia, even just now. When Mom and Mickaela come home, I promise I'll avoid you. But now, let me make it up to you. Let me be your Best Friend for a month while they're gone. Please, Athalia. " he said in a pleading voice. If he must kneel, he will do it so that she does not avoid him. Ath took a deep breath. "Okay. I agree, Luke. Even though I came here for work, I can't refuse you. You're still my best friend." she said. He smiled at her a

Matthew added, clenching his jaw and unclenching it at the same time. “But you know what?” He said as he ran his fingers through his hair, darting his eyes from Elena and looking at her again. “I’m tired of all of these. Just ask yourself, you claim I’m just a friend to you, and yet you can’t walk with any other person. You don’t want to see me with other people. Is that just it?” “Matt..” “I’m just a friend right? That guy that you can have a night stand with and push to another person. That you can have sex with anytime right?”

"Let's get straight to business. This is a non disclosure agreement and a six month personal services contract." Ethan frowned, looking from the document up to Adrian. "A contract? For a photography gig?" "It's not a photography gig, Ethan," Adrian said quietly, taking a seat across from him. He looked entirely serious, his hands folded neatly on his lap. "I need you to act as my lifelong best friend." Ethan blinked, a hollow laugh escaping his throat. "I'm sorry, what?"

There was an indescribable weariness and sorrow in that laugh. He walked to the bar, opened a drawer, and tossed a thick stack of documents onto the coffee table. "Mr. Wilder, take a look. After you've read it, then decide whether you still want to come at me like a hedgehog." Suspicious, I walked over and picked up the file. "Family Companionship and Psychological Intervention Service Agreement" "Party A: Kyle Foster" "Party B: Ruby Lawrence" This was nothing more than a simple employment contract.

I was shaking really badly and I didn’t even know what to think. All I knew was that I didn’t need anybody to start explaining my own predicament to me again. I already knew what I was signing. I was signing a seven-day contract with this dickhead, so all I needed to do was NOT to turn gay within those seven days or I’d be fucking getting married to this crazy psychopath. So what was there to explain again? Explaining it to me again would only make the situation feel worse and even more unbearable. So please, no—I didn’t want any more explanation. I knew exactly what the fuck I was signing, and I was aware of every single thing in the fucking contract.

I didn’t feel the pain until I tasted the copper of my own blood against my teeth. I raised my face slowly to see Beatrice’s eyes turn murderous, mixed with a flicker of calculation. She needs the money more than she hated me and she was upset that I knew that. “Fine,” she spat. “She goes. But if you breathe a word of this deal to Julian, I will make sure she never sees the sun again.” I nodded watching their backs as they left. They’re selling me. I looked at my fathers journals one last time, feeling like I was being buried alive next to his grave at the cemetery.

I picked it up and opened it. "Agreement Contract?" I read aloud. My brow furrowed, and my eyes widened as I scanned the first clause. I turned to him, stunned. "Do we... really need a contract?" Jefri nodded firmly, his expression deadly serious. "Yes! Of course. I’m a professional businessman. Everything has to be written down—in black and white." I rolled my eyes cynically and hissed, "Tch..." Then, I carefully read the terms. The document stated that Jefri was the First Party and I was the Second Party. The points included:

She handed me a folder. “This came for you. From Patricia Mills.” Inside was the updated contract. The friendship clause had been added, worded formally but clearly: *Both parties agree to maintain mutual respect, open communication, and genuine friendship throughout the duration of this agreement.* “He actually added it,” I said. “Of course he did. You asked for it.” Margaret smiled. “When are you signing?” “Thursday. Patricia wants one final review, then we’ll make it official.” “And the announcement?” “Friday. Kael wants to tell the pack before rumors start.” I closed the folder. “This is really happening.”

Listening. "You'll clean shit. You'll get yelled at. You'll bleed. And if you fuck up bad enough, nobody's coming to save your ass the second time." I tilt my head. "Still interested?" "Yes," he says without hesitation. "I am." A low hum rolls through my throat as I consider him one last time. "Fine. You can prospect." Paxton's eyes widen, surprise crashing straight into something dangerously close to hope. "Thank you, Sir." "Don't thank me yet," I cut in. "You're on probation. You fuck up, you're gone. You lie to me, you're gone. You bring trouble to this club, I'll make sure you regret walking through that goddamn door."
