The Alpha's Companion

The Alpha's Companion

But she hoped that even Scar wouldn't sink so low as to ruin their wedding day. After everything ws organized and put away, Lacey headed out to the living room and poured herself a glass of wine. Then she eyed the wall of books on the far wall. John Grisham... Tom Clancy.... Then there were classics such as The Three Musketeers, The Man in the Iron Mask, both by Alexandre Dumas; as well as Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea and From the Earth to the Moon, both by Jules Verne; and much more. It was an impressive collection. She chose From the Earth to the Moon and then sat on the couch to wait for Julien.

Second Chance Alpha-The Bond (#2 book)

Second Chance Alpha-The Bond (#2 book)

Kimberly After Jason leaves out the office, I continue to read through one of their history books. I've read three of them so far and there are many more books about werewolves here in Jason's office. Reading these books has taught me a lot about werewolves. I've learned about the moon goddess and about many of their traditions and ways of life. I've read about different wars that the wolves have fought against other supernatural creatures. I've learned a lot of interesting things from reading these books.

both book 1 and 2 were beautifully written. After hating Emma all the way through, it was strange to fell pity for her at the end. Jason and Kim a great couple so glad there happy ever after came true. your and AAA author, keep up the good work

I really liked both stories. But this second part is pretty disappointing. Was not happy with the turn of events. It would have been better where it left off with the first book. I think the whole second book is a big let down. And sad for Kimberly. She still doesn’t get a fully happy ending.

WILL I EVER LOVE AGAIN?

WILL I EVER LOVE AGAIN?

“Okay, so my favorite author is Tom Clancy. His early stuff is really good, but he got increasingly self-indulgent with his later novels.” “One of his earlier novels, then,” I said. Andre looked legitimately excited now. “There are three options, all of which are great. His best written novels are probably Hunt for Red October or Clear and Present Danger.” “I didn’t ask for the best written,” I clarified. “I asked for your favorite book.” He grinned widely. “I’m glad you made that distinction, because my favorite book of his is Red Storm Rising. It’s the second book he published.” “It’s not a depressing book about nuclear war, is it?”

Miss Goody Two Shoes

Miss Goody Two Shoes

In wanting to know things about her at least as much as she’d wanted to know them about him. “Menaced how?” he asked after a moment. “I…Well. Like James Bond.” “Spies again?” There was laughter lurking in his voice. And she remembered sharing Oxford’s golden shadows with him, the brush of his fingers. He’d been an impossible stranger then. Now he was a possible one. She fake-pouted. “I'm not repetitive. I'm thematic.” “Is he really all that menaced?” “Are you kidding me?” Her movements were limited, so she attempted to challenge his skepticism by wrapping her legs around him and squeezing. “Fleming was a massive pervert. Bond is the most menaced man in popular culture.”

The Grigori Chronicles: Book One: Transcendent

The Grigori Chronicles: Book One: Transcendent

Much like he'd looked as he had stood on Carrie's porch watching the clouds slowly travel across the sky while calmly sipping his coffee despite the chaos going on around him. Ben returned carrying a load of books in his arms. He heaved the heavy books onto the table before me. I looked down and was surprised at what I saw there. I didn’t know what I had expected. With all that had happened, I had envisioned fantasies of witchcraft, vampirism, mutants, and numerous other explanations involving mythological figures but this I hadn’t anticipated. At the very top of the considerable pile of books lay the King James Bible. “Just the tip of the iceberg, baby.” Richard said as he looked at me and

The Billion Dollar Love Triangle

"And what's your favorite?" "Oh that's too hard to choose sir. I mean of course I love classics like The Great Gatsby, 1984, and One Flew of the Cuckoo's Nest. I'm crazy about the James Bond books. But I have to say Misery is my favorite book. Stephen King is a genius." "So all that's told me is you read in high school and that's it. Aren't those all required reading?" "Daddy." I whispered. He took a long gulp from his glass. Sophia closed her eyes as though she was embarrassed.

Possibly the best story I've read so far on the platform! NGL, the ending was exactly how I wanted it to end! I won't spoil for those who haven't read, but I had the hypothetical going through my mind since the beginning! Great job, author!
Myra P
Finally had time to catch up on this story and I adore it so much! The addiction chapters were so well written and my heart was bleeding for Scarlett! I also love that even tho she spends a lot of time with Lee, Grayson is still such a great contender. I don't know who I want her to pick right now!

Love Under the Mistletoe

Love Under the Mistletoe

Nathan checked his watch to see it was just after eleven. “I like him,” Nathan told her honestly. Holly chuckled. “I think everyone does,” she told him. “If you want to get on his good side, start talking to him about Ian Fleming’s books versus the James Bond movies.” “I’ll keep that in mind,” Nathan said, storing away the tip for future use. “Does he like the movies or the books better?” Holly turned and gave him a look that said it should be obvious. The man did own a bookstore after all.

Contract Marriage to the CEO: My Wife is a Gold Digger

"What do you like to do in your spare time, William? It seems that you spend a lot of time inside. Don't you get bored?" "I spend my time reading, of course. My favorite is James Bond Series written by Ian Fleming. I am sure you know who that is. Of course, you young people fawn over the movies, but I enjoy the books immensely." William said and took a sip of his coffee. "Funny you should say that because I have a present for you," I smirked. William looks at me questioningly. "You didn't have to bring me anything," he shakes his head. "You would want this present, William. Trust me." My eyes glinted with excitement. I spent a week trying to think of a way to impress William and now was my c

Shadows of the Bond

Shadows of the Bond

Elaine clutched at Malcolm's arm, her voice laced with alarm as she said, "Malcolm, are you really going to ruin James's succession ceremony? How could you bear to break his heart?" James, Malcolm's only pup, had always been a compelling reason for his compromise—however, not at that moment. Malcolm shook off Elaine's grip without a second glance at James, shifted into his wolf form, and bolted for home. He was met with nothing but an empty room, every trace of Mila gone.

Married a Secret Billionaire

Married a Secret Billionaire

" Cordelia tugged Zephyr's hand and could not help chuckling. Zephyr rolled his eyes in his mind, grumbling about how all of the men his mother could choose, she picked one with such a lame name… Then a book flashed in his mind all of a sudden. The mystery novel he had always kept by the bed to read recently… Jim Bond? The book's… author? Zephyr froze, and his gaze was laced with disbelief as he looked at Uncle Bond across him. "What? You wouldn't be your Uncle Bond's reader, would you?" Janine teased, "Jim writes mystery novels. Some of them are adapted into films already, and a new one is being written. I'm thinking of investing in the production." Jim placed his cutlery down and flashed a

I've only read two books on this app. This is the second and by far the best one. The storylines are fluid, the characters are endowed with personality and most importantly the writer makes them come together seamlessly. Ideally, this is what the experience should be, uncomplicated and enjoyable.
Sharon
I like the story. However, the cost is high for books on here and they are never ending. Not that the chapters are long, but it is almost the same outlying as the other books from this author. Sometimes it takes a moment to see what characters they have actively engaged in that chapter.
