Throne of Wolves
The scent of rogues hit me, foul and intrusive, as I raced toward my home.
The clearing came into view, chaos erupting. Rogues and pack wolves clashed violently, the stench of death and rotting flesh thick in the air.
My eyes locked on a large brown wolf. My claws extended instinctively, and I lunged, tearing through its throat. Blood spattered across my fur, but I didn’t pause. Another wolf jumped at me, trying to pin me down, but I rolled, forcing him beneath me, snapping his neck with calculated precision.
Around me, Torey and Prince shifted, tearing into rogues with brutal efficiency. But I ignored them, focusing on the scent I had been chasing all this time.
