Romance With The CEO

Romance With The CEO

It forced him to be late to join Velia in bed. Lucas walked slowly, not wanting to make any sound that could disturb her sleep. You look tired. Lucas took his place on the side of the bed. He gazed at Velia's peaceful face and stroked her hair. Tired? That one word managed to bring a faint smile to Lucas's face. He remembered the romance in his office earlier that day. How enjoyable it was. How passionate. It would surely be one of the love affairs Lucas would enjoy. And perhaps Velia felt the same way.

Billionaire's Baby

Billionaire's Baby

In contemporary romance novels, wealthy heirs would marry a woman in name to avoid being pressured into marriage by their families, and then divorce when the timing was right. Therefore, the man in front of her must be a wealthy heir. "What did you say your name was again?" Jane asked subconsciously. Damien's lips curved into a smile. "I apologize for not introducing myself properly earlier. My name is Damien Wolfe, Miss Austen." Though his voice was not particularly loud, it seemed to echo through the room. Damien Wolfe...Damien... Jane's expression suddenly changed. Could he be that Damien Wolfe? she thought.

She didn’t like the way her thoughts were going, but they wouldn’t stop. Let’s face it, it’s got all the classic ingredients of a holiday fling. Exotic setting, two adults who fancy each other, and opportunity. And what happens to holiday romances once you get on the plane ? The knock at the door sounded like bombs dropping. ‘Who is it?’ ‘Guy.’ She walked on eggshells to the door. He was all fresh, showered and smelling of shaving things. Dangerous Romance

Dangerous Romance

He offered and handed his pill to me, bringing a bright smile to my face. "Thanks bro." I thanked him, and he winked, rushing out. That was how he saved me, but I knew it was only a matter of time before my secret would be exposed. This was a dangerous path to tread—the type that would bring disaster and death at the end. It was that type of romance that has no happy ending. I knew this, and I should stay away. The best option was to kill her and save myself from falling harder, but my powers are weak in front of her.

One Year with the Mafia Boss

One Year with the Mafia Boss

Even so, the whole process feels like a battle, and I am already exhausted by the time I have the books in my hands. I still read romantic novels. There is something comforting about them, even if some of the stories hit a little too close to home. Some of the plots are eerily similar to my own life, while others are pure escapism—beautiful, heartwarming tales from start to finish. Sure, the characters face hardships and tribulations, but what always stands out to me is the love and trust between the couples. It is the kind of love that feels unshakable, the kind I used to dream about. Now, I am not so sure if that kind of love exists for me anymore.

Romance, Going Solo

My best friend liked it instantly. [Congrats, Director Thornton. Welcome to freedom!] I was promoted to the position of finance director in my company. I bought my own home, and I had a cat. After everything I had been through, I finally understood that loving myself was where lifelong romance would truly begin.

I Was Written to Be His Forgotten Wife

I Was Written to Be His Forgotten Wife

Which meant whis body probably wasn’t someone important, but then suddenly, a wave of unfamiliar memories crashed into my mind. Names. Faces. Fragments of scenes. My eyes widened, “…You’ve got to be kidding me.” I knew this story, it was a ridiculously popular romance novel, the kind filled with dramatic love triangles and overly perfect characters. The title was painfully cliché. “The CEO and His Beloved Clara.” Of course. Just hearing the name made me sigh, the heroine of the story was Clara Bennett. Bright pink hair, shimmering red eyes, the kind of cheerful, innocent girl who could melt anyone’s heart within seconds.

Trapped by the Cold Doctor

Trapped by the Cold Doctor

Most ladies love romance novels, don't they? Hmmm.... I can't speak for them, but I'm definitely among the ladies who love romance novels, especially the ones that end with, "and they all live happily ever after." Isn't that so childish?. Damain asked, rolling his eyes. No it's not, there is nothing more interesting than reading a novel with a beautiful ending. I said smiling. "But you just have to admit it's childish. No it's not. "It is." No it's not. "It is."

Married a Secret Billionaire

Married a Secret Billionaire

He sat down next to her and allowed her to lean against his chest, gently stroking her long hair. "Fine, if you won't show me, just tell me." "It's just a romance novel," Maisie said with a light laugh. "The female lead loves the male lead deeply, but he has no feelings for her and sees their relationship as a transaction." Daniel's heart skipped a beat, and he quickly interrupted her. "Novels nowadays are full of nonsense. Don't read it." "What's the matter?" Maisie widened her eyes. "Didn't you ask me to tell you about it?"

I've only read two books on this app. This is the second and by far the best one. The storylines are fluid, the characters are endowed with personality and most importantly the writer makes them come together seamlessly. Ideally, this is what the experience should be, uncomplicated and enjoyable.

I like the story. However, the cost is high for books on here and they are never ending. Not that the chapters are long, but it is almost the same outlying as the other books from this author. Sometimes it takes a moment to see what characters they have actively engaged in that chapter.
